He has been rescued!

A nice couple met him, walked him and spent time with him and took him home.

They will reach out if it doesn’t work out.

Location Arizona…
This 7 year boy was abandoned in a house two days ago. He only has until Monday before he goes to the shelter. The owners ex-husband reached out to us for help. He doesn't have access to the dog. Shelters are extremely full and are killing daily for space, so a shelter for a 7 year old Great Dane is not ideal. He is currently still in the house and we are desperately trying to get him out and safe with in rescue. In order to do that we need a foster home for him.
He is good with kids, lived with a 3 year old. Also lived with a cat.
Per the ex-husband he is good with dogs
Please consider fostering this boy to help save him.

To anyone who says " need to dump my dog because I work a lot & my dogs are home alone.. I can't give them the attention they need" blah blah blah...... let me tell you, I've checked my cameras 4 times today... & my dogs have not moved once! They're sound asleep, and will be thrilled with all the love & attention they get when we get home!!! Not one time are they thinking "gee... I'd love to be in a hot, loud, concrete cell where I might get walked once or twice a day for about 10 minutes" or "gee it sure would be nice if someone dumped me off on the side of the road so I could figure out how to fend for myself in the 100 degree heat, pouring rain, loud scary thunderstorms, and no food or water except dirty rain puddles... That sounds WAY better than sleeping on the couch all day in the AC while my humans work

We adopted Bohdi when he was 7 months old, he is now 3 years old. He came from a family we knew in Michigan that kept him in a cage 8 hours a day, every day. When the family got home Bohdi was subjected to 4 wild kids. The parents had no control over Bohdi or their kids. It appeared to be a stressful home for Bohdi. We adopted him and brought him to our little farm in rural Michigan to live with me, my wife, daughter, and Charlie our 1st Great Dane who is a year older than Bohdi. It was a great setup for these two giant dogs.....Now, we live in an HOA with an extremely small yard. We could handle Bohdi's nervous energy in our old house. However, it is much more difficult here our new home to handle both dogs.

I would love to see Bohdi go to an active couple with strong, confident dog personalities. Bohdi loves other big dogs. However, Bohdi cannot be placed in a home with small animals of any kind. He most certainly views them as prey. Bohdi is as lovable and sweet as he looks in the pictures attached to this email. He loves his people. He loves to cuddle. He will follow you from room to room. Bohdi makes a for a great security guard too. I guarantee that no one will ever break into your house with Bohdi home. This makes it very important to properly introduce him to new people. We like to be outside with Bohdi on a leash before new guests arrive. This makes for a more controlled introduction.

Bohdi is neutered. However, he appears to have one testicle still. We have had his urine tested for s***m and the results showed no s***m present. Bohdi is very active. It was nearly impossible to make him rest while he was recovering from the neuter procedure. This resulted in significant swelling. When the swelling went down, he had this "mass" in his sc***um that never went away. Bohdi is up to date on all his vaccinations. It is also worth noting that Bohdi has never bitten anyone. We are asking a rehoming fee to make sure he is in the right home.
