7 years ago today, my best friend in the world was born and changed my life forever. 7 months ago today, she was tragically taken from me and my life turned upside down.
It’s not right, fair or even comprehensible that she is gone, and I am still struggling to get by every single day, but even if I knew 7 years ago how excruciating it would be to loose her, I would not trade this pain if it meant a single day of not knowing Olive.
Because to know her was to know undying and unconditional love.
She gave me the best 6.5 years of my life. I am so grateful for everything Olive taught me and for being so blessed to be her mom.
