I'm also raising Black Copper Marans and olive eggers.

Now that he's home... I added a 3rd buck to the roster. Photo credits I believe go to Moon Station. So welcome home Moon Station 2 Infinity Nbeyond "Buzz." I'm so excited to use him and keep these kids next year. All 3 bucks I have are distantly related to some of my favorites. 1 buck is a son of my favorite... I'm so excited for February (You won't hear me say that offen.)

Prayers were definitely sent to the communities we drove through. SC, NC and GA. We had to take different routes... I believe we came into Greenville/Simpsonville SC just as they were getting power back and fuel delivered.

After only getting 3 hours of sleep in 2 days... We went to the Fair show in Knoxville 😂 While we didn't place high, we didn't place last at a very competitive show. I was a tad bummed and someone mentioned that I'm new, using a Jr doe that is 2nd generation my breeding and going against some good competition. It definitely opened my eyes so thank you! There was top 10 and national level herds there! Definitely no regrets. I expected to be last but was hoping to get some feedback and I definitely did.

💥💥💥💥💥 Crowden Farms QR David's Harp placed 6/9 and 5/9. She was complimented on her levelness on the move and rear angulation. She's being bred to Hidden Hills Southern Storm so that will reinforce that as well as help with rump and width. I'm so proud of her. She did better than expected and only flung herself to the ground once.

💥💥💥💥💥 Camaraderie Farm Paige placed 5/6 and 5/7. She was complimented on her open ribbing and rump angle but shoulders did pop out when walking. I'm focusing on front ends and shoulders this year so my breeding schedule might be changing last minute. As of now she will be bred to Hidden Hills Southern Storm.

First breeding took place today! Herbie x Aegon. Waitlist is open. Polled possible. This breeding is focusing on front ends, attachments and teat placement/size. Totality, Maca Root, Phoebe, Carolina girl meets RainEDayWomn and the Elk line? So many good things going on in this planned pedigree so fingers crossed genetics play in my favor. Herbie is my girl so not hoarding her kids has been an issue for me... She has NEVER given me a buck so I'm very curious if she keeps her all doe streak for year 4.
