My father was my inspiration in owning and enjoying this incredible breed. He was brought up with them on a farm in New York and fell in love. They were always a part of our family and I bought my first shepherd after graduating high school. My dad would watch my boys when the girls around here would go in heat, and I know he enjoyed every minute. 😁

"Not going to drive you nuts with frequent texts, but I do need to tell you…this little pup is bulletproof.
Nothing bothers him.
Just took him into town and used the leash for the first time. Never bit at it; really didn’t notice it much at all.
Sounds, cars, stairs, rain; I’ve yet to see him take a step back from anything.
Yes, he’s a puppy and my hands are bloody…but that’s generally been my fault for making them available.
So, he came housebroken and knew how to sit.
Thank you, ma’am!
No accidents in the house.
Zero.
It’s definitely work, but so happy and proud of him.
Trust me, I know what’s ahead…but what a fine start you gave him.
As an aside, he was so good about sleeping during the day outside his kennel I was not following your instructions.
I am now, much easier on everyone! Encourage your clients to follow that routine, it’s great.

These little pumpkins will venture off to their new homes at the end of the weekend. Always bitter sweet! Thank you Michael and Candra for coming out to evaluate this lovely group. We had a few nice puppies that would make great service dogs, and we narrowed it down so a special veteran will get a special puppy suited to help with his specific needs. So grateful to have a small part in making a veteran succeed in overcoming his PTSD.

AKC Registered German Shepherd Puppies in Colorado

My name is Tracie Wenzel and my passion for the German Shepherd breed began when I was just a child. My parents always had a shepherd around as part of the family, and they certainly were my best friends growing up. As soon as I could afford my own, I purchased a beautiful male that was a wonderful instructor on being a good pet owner. My love brought me to owning a wonderful pack of dogs that are an integral part of our daily lives. We are a very small breeding operation specializing in socializing the puppies from birth so they will lead happy, loyal lives with their new owners. I consider it an honor to be able to contribute to the German Shepherd breed with upholding the breed standards a priority.
