Lizzie grew up on Noah's Arc. She learned to walk holding onto the backs of two loony, Labrador Retrievers and a sweet Golden Retriever (rest easy Truman, Casey, and Savannah), and her first real friends were her cats. She spent her days as a young girl playing outside with her dogs, rescuing abandoned baby birds from fallen nests, making homes out of shoeboxes for ladybugs, and as she got older, working with horses and other equines. She's worked with horses, dogs, and cats (and every animal in between).
Lizzie has rescued many animals from various situations, such as an injured screech owl, whom she named Destiny, and then helped release back into the wild, with the help of a local wildlife refuge. Animals are her life and passion and she will spend the rest of her life giving back to them because they brought her so much joy. She earned her certification as an Animal Training & Enrichment Professional at the Animal Behavior Institute after high school and continues to love and care for her own animals.
