Zoom!
Happy Saturday! Hope you’re having as much fun as I am
Who can guess what I was asking for before the hoomans do?
(I scoot when I’m excited, just had my vet check 😁)
If the tail is swirling, we is learning
Ok, not the best waggy tail video...we’d already finished the session. But it’s an example of what we always want to achieve; as long as that tail is wagging, we’re playing, and we always try to stop before that tail does.
Today it was some Party Hat work, but with the main goal of trimming those talons! He’s not a fan, I’m not a fan, but it has to be done. Today we managed a whole....one. Total. And that’s ok, because as long as we don’t push it too far we can always try again tomorrow.
Chewbacca or Chewy Wanter?
They call this my Chewbacca impression.
I calls it my “hurry up and get me my Chewy” song
Thought we’d share some happiness on this lovely Saturday
I’m very much a doggo of habits. If I walks a route once, I is very likely to go the same way next time. And the time after that...
The more I does a thing, the more relaxed I becomes. We’ve been doing this route what I picked for a few weeks now, and this means that I’m getting more sure that it’s Safe from New Things, and Noisy Things, and...well, Things in general. Because it’s Safe, I can take some time to do some sniffing and some peeing on things.
It’s not quite Safe enough for 💩 yet.
Happy Place
Uh oh, mumma has discovered something that lets her make videos. Prepare for a LOTS of stuff like this...lockdown has done funny things to her
Girl humans and boy humans! Guess what day it is! It’s my Gotcha Day!
5 years ago my Mumma (though she didn’t know she was gonna end up as that then) travelled up to a motorway service station to collect me. I’d travelled a long way and I. was. terrified. I hid in the footwell of her car with my head under the seat and I didn’t move the whole way home. She had to keep touching me to see if I was alive because I was so still. She later found out I’d also peed myself in fear 😞
Sara was not very happy with her new houseguest. We didn’t get along at very all! Eventually we came to an understanding, but it was touch and go for a while.
I’ve had lots of ups and downs along the way, but with the help of Natalie Light Dog Training & Behaviour my humans now understand me and my special ways a lot better. They still call me douche dog, and there are days when Mumma shuts the door on me and drinks wine, but these happen much much less. And she tells me that she loves me every day.
