Our sweet boy, Vincent, is scheduled for surgery Monday at SAVES (formerly Upstate Specialty Vet). At this point we have raised 2918.53 toward his surgical costs. We have spent over $2000 on his care to date & have an estimate that is up to $5153.23 for his surgery. SAVES will accept payments directly at 828-210-8285. Batman vs FIP - Day 84
Day 84! Did you hear that???? This is day 84! I had a celebratory churu! Yum! Now we are waiting on my blood work. All paws crossed!
FIP Facts: GS441524 is administered for 84 days. CBC & Chem 17 is drawn thoughout the course of treatment & at the end of treatment. If bloodwork is where it should be, 84 days of observation will start & bloodwork will be continued throughout the observation period. It may be recommended that a Batman continue meds & test again in 30 days. It all depends on the blood work - that we are anxiously awaiting! Stay tuned!

It’s National Feral Cat Day. Please don’t feed & let them breed. If you care for feral cats, you need to spay and neuter them. Being a feral is not an easy life. Having kittens makes it so very much harder. Jackie’s colony is fed twice a day. She is loved, cared for and SPAYED!

Kris Cari Moore & Glynn Lookabill trapped this week & this girl is very happy she is free & won’t ever be having babies. Kris released her today to live the life that she wants to live, on her own terms. She has caretakers that feed her twice a day & let us know if she needs trapping because she’s ill. Her caregivers love her & respect that she will never want to be touched. Live your best life Jackie. (Thank you to another volunteer, Shirley, who also trapped that night in a different area. She trapped 4 kittens!)
