We train you to train your dog. Puppy, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Scent Work, and Conformation class Welcome to Dayton Dog Training Club, Inc.

We are very proud of our Not For Profit Corporation. Founded in the 1950’s, we strive to serve the public by offering quality dog training at reasonable prices. We welcome all dogs – large or small, purebred or all American, purchased or rescued, dogs needing basic training or dogs ready for competition. All of our instructors are volunteers and are very qualified to teach their respective classes
. Most have earned titles and/or certifications on their personal dogs and some are even AKC judges. We recently expanded our facility to almost double the square footage we had in the past. There is plenty of parking and rest room space for both humans and canines. Our training areas are fully matted with heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. We are easy to get to off I -75 or RT 35. We hope you will give us the opportunity to “train you to train your dog”.

Read that again
It’s not what our dog “does” or “doesn’t do” that is important, it is the meaning we give to their actions, and our emotional response to “what we believe just happened” that makes all the difference. The path we choose can hurt or contribute to the relationship we have with our dogs. And that relationship defines what choice the dog will make the next time and the time after that. Allow your dog to show you how brilliant they can be, approach your training with empathy, humility, and compassion. Don’t allow anyone to tell you that your dog is “stubborn“ or “stupid“ or “willful“ or “knows better“… You get what I mean. Because our dogs are always doing the best they can with the education we’ve given them in the environment we’re asking them to perform in.
