From FWC:
"Greetings from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission,"
"In our ongoing efforts to streamline our permitting procedures, the FWC will be moving the application process for these permits from PermitMe to GoOutdoorsFlorida.com effective April 11, 2024.
If your permit is currently valid, no immediate action is required on your part. However, if you plan to renew your permit or apply for a new one in the future, we want to ensure you are informed about this new process. All applications or renewals submitted after April 8, 2024, must be completed through the GoOutdoorsFlorida.com website.
During the anticipated transition period of April 8-10, 2024, data records will be transferred between systems. During this time the PermitMe System will be temporarily unavailable, and while regular hunting and fishing licenses will be available as usual, applications for PermitMe permits within the GoOutdoorsFlorida.com system will not yet be available. Please plan accordingly. If you anticipate needing a renewal during this period, please submit your application before 5 p.m., April 7th.
The FWC remains dedicated to enhancing customer service, and we believe this transition will simplify the application process, expedite responses from FWC staff regarding approvals and inquiries, and ultimately, improve efficiency. A follow-up email with additional application instructions will be sent out for each permit type when the system is live. Should you have any questions, please contact the Office of Licensing and Permitting at 850-488-3641 before April 8th or our dedicated transition helpdesk at 855-779-5907 after the transition.
Sincerely,
FWC Office of Licensing and Permitting"
I’ll have on display and available my Sherbet, Purple Haze and Candy Cane projects. Mostly adults. Come see what selective bred is all about
Last minute table. First time vending Orlando since 2005.
Come by and say high. At a minimum I can unload 30 plus years of experience collecting and breeding these amazing creatures. Plus always looking to learn something new.
Got a table to the West Palm show. See you all there.
Repticon Tampa
Repticon Tampa
Vending this weekend. Come by and say hi
My hometown show. Can me by and say hello
Repticon Miami this weekend.
My new old time home town show 😂
First time vending Miami. My old home town. Come say high. Twenty years of selective breeding on display.
Next show likely not until Repticon Tampa.
Who sees purple vs pink? My eyes see purple.
We now offer tattoo services 😂
Discounting what I brought to Daytona. If my genetics wanted then this is the show to get them. Sherbets, Candy Cane, Stonewashed and Purple Haze plus my almost 20 years working with Lipsticks direct from Tom Burke and coral lineage direct from Peter Kahl on display and for sale.
It is with a deep sadden heart that I’ve decided to exit the hobby and business I’ve nurshed since 1989 but advance age has shown me I need remaining time to go see the world. As many know, having a collection requires much of our time which at times can be taxing plus I’d rather just keep a pet or two for which finding a temporary sitter more practical.
Entire collection can be packaged or split into groups. Preference is having one Breeder take over a project as I’d like to keep tabs on its progress and hope to see it advanced down the road. Breeding boas is not a get rich quick scheme but can be very satisfying and rewarding once you hit on that you dreamed.
Please. No low ball offers. Goal is finding proper homes and not the lowest bidder looking to flip a quick profit.
Several females and males are proven. Several females are six year old virgins which means what you breed them to is guaranteed to be what is produced.
All animals are slow grown. Hard to underfeed a boa that is fed large infrequent meals yet all too easy to overfeed and end their life too early. I have 12 year olds raised slowly. Why I take this approach.
I don’t allow handling at shows. This prevents bringing home that not wanted such as mites. Please don’t ask. Obviously once a sale has been made then handling to confirm all is as expected.
My collection has been closed since 2011. My animals consist of breeders or that produced from breeders from three sources. Peter Kahl, Tom Burke and Frank Martin. I don’t flip boas. I don’t do anything but boas. I don’t introduce problems into my collection. That’s worth something to most.
Hope to see you guys and even if nothing of interest at my table. Come say high. Might be the last time we shake although these days I do fist bumps. Shaking hands might transfer those dreaded bugs. Yeah. I’m that paranoid but my collection benefits from it. In the end what matters. Hope all understand.
Booth 242
06 Coral Albino Jungle acquired from Peter Kahl in 08 at Tinley. Took 2 seconds to realize he was going home with me. Pretty sure guy next to me wasn't happy. He was eyeing him as well. Wasn't cheap. Quality never is ...
2012 goo shot. Love the abstract patterns on super sunglows
I think this was my Sherbet as a neonate. Gonna need a new pair of Ray Bans 🤣
Matriarch of my Candy Cane, Purple haze and Stonewashed. 2005 Coral Albino Jungle Het Anery acquired from Peter Kahl in 2007.
Patriarch of my genes. Lipstick Sunglow 05 from Tom Burke. One of my best breeders as well.
Matriarch of everything I currently have. Sold as a Het Coral albino from Peter Kahl although years later we discovered that's not a recessive trait yet something I seek because I'm a coral freak. The pastel trying to show through what grabbed my eye. She produced many eye catchers including the Sherbet I'm so proud of.
Ruby Red from Tom Burke. As good as they get...
05 Blood from Tom Burke as a yearling. Bred him to a Ruby Red from Tom Burke but didn't take. Should have kept at it. Would have had my own Sherbet Dragons. 🙄
Another blast from the past. Yearling photo taken 2009. Might be father of the Sherbet but no reference on the photo yet the side characteristics showing.
Wow
Second time vending. My home town show.
