Our kennel, dogs and puppies are all registered with the Canadian Kennel Club. We do full health testing including OFA hips, elbows, eyes, heart and DNA testing.

We are super proud of this dog!! Winter was such a keen puppy (red collar) from our Cinder/Brew 2021 litter.
Amelie has done amazing things with him and so much training.
Versatility and looks 😍
Winter recently achieve his JH and WC in the field. He is now titled in conformation, agility, hunt and temperament.

Glow and I had a great time at the Muskoka District Kennel Club Show.
She showed well even in the heat. Glow won multiple Best of Opposites gaining 11 points towards her grand championship.
Many thanks to the judges for finding our lovely girl amongst some really nice Goldens.

Excited to showcase Glow in Canadian Dog Fancier to celebrate her New Champion status.
Glow will be out showing with me at Muskoka Kennel Club on July 31 - Aug 2 at the Bracebridge fairgrounds.

We are having a great time at K9 Central, Pet Resort, Training & Spa Inc DockDiving!
Glows first competition ever and she got first in her first two waves! Taking everything in stride, the crowd and loud music doesn’t phase her.
Stormy is being handled by my daughter and it’s their first time competing together. Stormy is so patient, they have done so well so far with two 4th places!
Looking forward to another day today!

Stormy and Glow went to get their annual health clearance certifications on their eyes and hearts 👀 ❤️. Both of them passed!

We had an amazing weekend out at Nipissing Kennel Club INC. show!
Glow “Cheer’s Bridge of Light to Cedargrove” finished her championship in style taking a huge Best of Breed from the class over several nice specials! Big thanks to judge Doug Gaudin for her BOB, BOW, WB and to judge Jennifer Sayers for her WB.
Can’t thank her breeder Cori J Vanderbeek Heer enough for this gorgeous girl.

There are a couple of pups still available in this litter!! They are Parker/Griffin pups. Parker is Stormy’s full littermate/sister.

Winter sired his first litter, they were born yesterday. Congrats to Jengar Goldens on a lovely litter.
Bold Betty had 10 pups, 6 girls, 3 boys and 1 angel baby.
Winter is owned by Set N Go Dutch Shephards & Golden Retrievers (Amelie). He is out of our Cinder/Brew litter.

I haven’t posted much lately!

The girls are doing great. Aura leaves for her new home next week. Super sad for us but she will have an amazing life. She found the perfect home.

An update for you all;
We have been super busy with family obligations, kids in hockey and gymnastics. As such we are taking things slow with the breeding program.
We have no future plans for litters this year, we may have one litter next year out of Stormy but only if the timing works out.

I will continue to post updates and plan to be out dock diving and showing this year.

Our friend Aislinn over at Monarch Golden Retrievers is opening up her waiting list for this year. Parker is Stormy’s sister, Vegas is out of Brew. I love both of these dogs.

Hi everyone!! 📣🐾👋

I know it’s been a bit quiet on here with being busy with school, but I’ve got some updates regarding my breeding plans for 2024!

Parker will be having a litter with Griffin (a repeat of the Tipsy Litter in ‘22) with puppies born start of April, then home start of June. The official announcement will be coming soon!

Vegas should be having her first litter as well, with puppies estimated born in the summer and then home in early fall. Stud still TBD.

I’ve contacted those that were on my wait list, if I missed you, please reach out! I’m also opening my list for these 2 litters, so please send me an email for more information and an application. I don’t see messages right away sometimes (especially on instagram), so please email me at [email protected]. Give me until the end of the weekend to go through everyone.

I’m still (very slowly) working on my website, it was put on the back burner with school being my main focus over the fall/winter. But I’m excited for this summer with puppies, as well as having some fun with my dogs!

I took the girls to Pet Valu in Bracebridge today for a bath and blow dry. Spring shedding is in full swing over here. Glow loves to be blow dried - Aura wasn’t too sure but loved the treats - Stormy wasn’t impressed but also loved the treats - Thea did great for her first time at Pet Valu!

We have a 9 month old female available to a pet home.
Aura is from our Stormy/Floki litter born April
2023. She is available through no fault of her own. We kept her back as a breeding prospect but have had to make the very difficult decision that she is not suitable for our breeding program due to a structure flaw. I am very attached to her, but as a breeder I have very high standards for a dog that makes it into the breeding program.
Aura is crate trained and house trained. She knows her basic commands and travels well in a crate in the car. She has been shown in conformation, started on dock diving, rally obedience, and tricks. She walks well on leash too. She is friendly and outgoing. She gets along with other dogs and loves children.
Given her age, she is still intact. She will be sold on a non-breeding contract.
Aura would be suitable for a home with children. She is gentle and respectful. She loves to be active but has a great off switch.
Aura is up to date on vaccines, she is registered with the CKC and microchipped.
We are asking $5,500 + HST for Aura.

Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 is here for 2 weeks and I’m loving having her around again! For those who don’t know, Phoenix is from our Cinder/Brew 2021 litter. She was our keeper but didn’t make it into the breeding program. We raised her for 1.5 years in our home!

I haven’t posted much lately! The girls are doing great. Aura leaves for her new home next week. Super sad for us but she will have an amazing life. She found the perfect home. **not my litter** We got to visit the Meadow 🌿 litter at Maplelane Golden Retrievers. Since most of you haven’t gotten your puppy fix lately I will share with you! Maplelane Goldens is our sister kennel, quite literally run by my sister Jen 🥰. Latte is half sister to Stormy, they are both out of Brew. Since we are taking a break from breeding this winter, I will share a few updates with you. I’m looking forward to evaluating both her litters!

Joy is here for a few days 🥰. Also boarding Bonus, my sisters older BC. Enjoying the fall leaves 🍁 and colours!

Dock Time

The girls had fun on the dock after the reunion! I didn’t get a video of Glow, but enjoy my kids helping with the older girls 🥰💦

Day 2 of the Golden Retriever 2023 GRCC National Specialty Yesterday we watched, learned and participated in a seminar called “How Form Follows Function” at the field hunt test. Great day of learning. Today is the Obedience and Rally tests. We are not entered as Glow is not quite ready yet. After obedience we are attending another seminar called “Form, Function & the Breed Standard”. Today is also bath and blow dry day! Tomorrow is the National conformation show, Wednesday is the Regional Specialty conformation show. Floki, Glow and Aura are entered. The dogs are enjoying lots of walks, playtime and snuggles on the beds at the hotel.

Pups had a fun afternoon playing in the backyard!! Can’t believe they all go home in a few days 🥹. Our Summer Break ☀️ litter turns 8 weeks on Thursday.

Beautiful day (yesterday) to have a good play outside in the sunshine!

Our Summer Break ☀️ litter is 4.5 weeks old now! Enjoying their weaning pen. They are doing great at using the litter area. We keep their pen small initially until they get the hang of the potty system. Then slowly make it bigger and bigger as they grow.

Our Summer Break litter is thoroughly enjoying their first meal. 4 weeks old now! Potty training is underway, and they get to meet their new families for the first time this weekend 🥰 Reign/Brew litter.

Our “Summer Break ☀️” litter is 3.5 weeks old. We are giving them new daily experiences. Today was the singing dog toy! I think they liked it 😆 listen with sound for human children commentary 🥰 Reign/Brew 2023

18 days old! Time is zooming by for the Summer Break ☀️ litter. Eyes open, ears starting to open. They are getting more mobile (still rather chubby 🦛 😆) and starting to play with each other. Reign/Brew 2023.

We had a morning out to Epic K9s Pool and Event Farm with the girls today ☀️ 💦. Aura’s first time on the dock, she didn’t even bat an eye! Glow did great and even jumped off the big dock before we left (I didn’t get video). Stormy was her usual steady self. Stormy is competing this Sunday at K9 Central, Pet Resort, Training & Spa Inc

Happy 1 week old to our Summer Break ☀️ litter. Reign is keeping them well fed, and they have already doubled their birth weight. We have added hills and toys to their whelping box to give them extra things to climb over. They will have to work harder for their food 😆 This helps them get stronger and prevents swimmers syndrome, which can happen with fast weight gain.

Nice afternoon hike with the girls. Kept it short though as Reign has slowed down. Reign is due in a week! We expect a small litter again this time but I’m sure they will be super cute 🥰 🐾

Atlas and Aura

Socializing trip to town today. Watching people and cars in the grocery store parking lot. Learning patients in their crates. High value chews help keep them busy. We went to the park (not a dog park!) to wander around. Learning to ignore people and dogs.

Got the older girls out on the lake yesterday. It was a tad chilly and rainy but they had a blast! Swimming is great exercise for dogs. It’s low impact and comes natural to Goldens. Glow’s first time retrieving in water, she’s a natural. Stormy lives for this 😆

I had a nice visit with Reign!! She is getting a small baby belly 🥰😍. She’s due in 2.5 weeks. Likely a small sized litter, but that’s ok! X-ray for puppy count is booked for June 21.
