July is in the history books as the most busy month so far. 153 pet sits taking care of 30 wonderful animals. I am now able to offer insulin injections as a service for pets who have diabetes. It was a crazy, busy and amazing month...looking forward to a little down time with friends at the beach in a few days.

July's calendar is packed with awesome clients! This is the busiest month of the year. Thankful to be spending time with dozens of super sweet dogs, cats, birds, fish and horses!

I ran a half marathon yesterday...my race bib was "Diva Dog Trainer". Having fun but looking forward to coming home and training some sweet puppies this week!

Taking care of lots of wonderful dogs and cats this holiday week...they are all so happy to see me when I walk in the door...that feeling is priceless! Love my furry clients and the humans are really great too...one left me a chocolate bar and another left a lovely "tip". I'm grateful and love my job even if the busiest times are holidays and weekends!

Beautiful, crisp morning to walk pet sit clients! My calendar is really booking up for all the many holiday trips people are planning! I'll be spending time with lots of sweet, furry friends!

Training a sweet little 10 week old airdale puppy this week! Have several new clients...really fun to see how quickly they learn to earn positive rewards! (i.e. tiny cut up chicken hot dogs) Owners are always so excited to see their dogs/puppies learning so fast! I love my job!

Looking forward to meeting new clients this evening. I've been hired to mentor their teenage daughter and teach her how to properly train their puppy! What a wonderful idea!

Super busy with vacation clients! I work day and night from a.m. visits through bed time visits. Really love seeing all their smiling faces and tails wagging when I arrive! Love my job!

Also excited about working with a dog who is believed to be part coyote...unique temperament...will be interesting to see if he learns the same way or will require different positive reward techniques.

Really excited to work with a sweet pit bull who was used as a bait dog. He doesn't have the use of one foot due to losing several toes in fights but he is super sweet and smart. Successfully helped him overcome some anxiety about his yard boundaries.

Very exciting training session today with a shy 6 month old puppy...she is afraid of movement especially hand movements. She finally approached my open hand on the floor and took treats. Up to now we have been working on "sit" with hand signals and tossing treats toward her. Seeing progress is fantastic!

Just finished a terrific first session with a one year old Bull Terrier. Will be working with him weekly to resolve various issues like chasing golf carts, chewing golf cart tires, coming when called, jumping, attention seeking behaviors...looking forward to working with him and his wonderful owner.

So excited that my newest training client lives in my favorite home on the lake. I had only seen it from the water and it was so fun to realize which home I was in and to see it from the inside...gorgeous! Looking forward to training their sweet schnauzer puppy!
