A lovely experience for the vet students today to experience Aoife Quigley doing her dentistry on our livery horses .A change from lambing!.
Tomorrow the farrier experience before they finish .Two fantastc first year students ..how will they sit at their computers next week!

..We are now entering the most beautiful time of the year here the daffodils are up the land is drying up .We welcome Catherine back with her gorgeous new "Handsome Jack' ....We have just one space available if you are interested.

We have just one full livery space available .
As the days get longer and brighter it is a lovely time to be a part of a lovely yard with terrific people.
What do we have here?
60/ 40 arena with lights.Open 7am to 10pm 365 days a year.
Horses out 7am to 2/3 pm Winter.
out 7 to 5pm Summer.Two max three to a paddock.
Hacking on 150 acres and off roads locally.
Space for horsebox free of charge.
Space to keep tack
A lunge arena.
Visits from farriers weekly .Instructors visit weekly.
Horse dentist..etc can be arranged.
15 minutes from Devils glen and Boswell.
Large stables with shavings cleaned daily.
Feed included in the price access to our own haylage ..Any supplements you provide we implement.So if interested please call for a no obligation visit .it is €607 a month .( 140 a week includes all the above.Call Margaret

Thankfully horses are able to get a few hours out each day in the past few days.. It is that dance between safety .questions to be asked .Is there ice underneath? ..Staff safety? and of course horses safety and then clients safety ..Will they be OK etc etc.
It's a delicate dance but Eamon has safely called it the passed few days out after 12
30 for a couple of hours..clients and horses happy..it's a dance more complicated than a tango sometimes!

Lovely yard get together..we kept warm up at the house this year after the storm of last week..comfort and joy was the menu and mince pies!
Happy safe riding to all ..lovely catch up and thinking of Ernest of course.

If it wasn't so awful I can't help think I'd love to jump on a horse right now jump this log and take off "into the west "just me and Tir na nog but the weather is worse there .11 trees gone and counting..
