Very peaceful here today ..lovely to have the option of a 40 minute drive to the RDS to see amazing riders and horses or just chill..out and about .

'The hundred acre wood ' as it was known from Winnie the Pooh' when Sam and Ellie were small.or the bluebell wood as it is known for obvious reasons..lots of bluebells wild garlic , all sorts of creatures so biodiversity at its best, living together in harmony ..its a very special place.
Clearing it now so our lovely liveries can hack properly through it over the Summer ☀️.

When the weather is very bad it cannot be done because it causes a pan underneath which can ultimately damage the surface..
So it's lovely to be able to roll again.

Such a relief to see horses back out..We are hoping this is the end of what has been a dreadful spell of rain.
We pride ourselves on our turnout but recently we just haven't been able to on certain days with saturated fields, torn up land which can have consequences for everyone later in the year.
Today marks the start of out all day ..the odd shower is fine ..just the non stop rain has affected the land our clients who have been very patient who want to ride at leisure ..and of course the the horses who want to live their best life.

Eamon rolling the arena for another week. A cold week ahead crisp days but that is normal for this time of year .Each season brings with it it's own beauty. Hot chocolate and marshmallows back in the kitchen. Horseriding + Hot chocolate = Happiness.:)
