Bodhi may seem like a bro at first, but he's a big softie. He's an earnest sweetie with a bit of a sensitive and tender side. Bodhi really likes people, and eagerly takes an opportunity to get cuddles. He enjoys some activity, but also does a great job matching his person's energy when it's time to settle and hang out. Someone must have done some training with Bodhi before the kennel because he showed us that he knows sit, paw and down. While he can be cautious about some new things (like a loud firework, after which he needs to be babied and reassured) he is also thoughtfully curious and doesn't mind exploring if he has a friend by his side. Bodhi's playful streak is emerging as well, and we can only imagine it'll come out more in a home. Bodhi has also been playful and social with other dogs so far, seeming to prefer canine company that is on the milder side. Bodhi is estimated to be around a year old and weighs 58 lbs.

📚 I introduced some training I’ve learned at Cold Nose to him (we were actually supposed to take him before he was adopted). He is so smart + picked up commands super quick (sit, down, leave it, stay). He needs a little more work on “off” + therefore, I’d say he’d be better in a home with sturdier children to avoid knocking them down (he’s really good with kids though, as seen at events + his prior adopters who had school age children). He’s VERY attentive to people + has playful puppy energy.
🐕 Totally non-reactive to other dogs + a friendly participant in playgroup (just monopolizes the pool lol). I think he’d do awesome with another fur friend to romp around with.
🩵 Hatch has such an excitement + love for everything, his playful spirit is contagious! He radiates a genuine happiness for life!

Theo goes from being quietly observant in his cage to zooming around a fenced yard, frolicking with toys. The joy he finds in playtime will make you smile. Theo gets wiggling and engaging with people too. He will try to convince people and other dogs to join him in play too. Theo does appear to have had training in the past, since he is excellent at waiting until he's outside to go to the bathroom. Don't sleep on handsome Norton! He's been pretty overlooked so far despite his even-keel personality around the kennel. Norton would thrive in an active household and/or with a fenced yard, as he loves to play with toys (tug and fetch), do zoomies in the play yard, take long walks and hike. Norton has also been playful and social with other dogs in play group. He can also entertain himself by throwing toys around independently or laying down to chew.
He usually keeps his kennel clean so we would guess he is housebroken. Norton takes treats nicely, can sit on command and is learning "down." He seems highly trainable since he's very treat motivated. He has also been practicing his leash manners by walking on a gentle leader on longer trips. Norton has a sensitive side, and can be startled by unexpected movements when he's still getting to know you (because of this, we'd recommend a home with older children for him.) He almost seems like he's figuring out what to do with all the love and attention he gets from people at the kennel, and it's a delight to see him come out of his shell. He's a fun boy with lots of potential to be an adventure buddy, and just needs a little time and TLC to feel comfortable and ready to go!
