Through advocacy, education, and direct action in Malta, our mission is to create a society where the worth and freedom of all animals are respected, ensuring they live on their own terms, free from human interference.

"Zoos" in Malta often attract visitors with baby animal photos, but these babies need their mothers, not human handlers. Separating them shows a lack of true care. Forced human bonding is unnatural and harmful.

Multiple stray cats were recently killed and mutilated in Sliema. One had its tail cut off while another had part of its tongue missing. Some were also attacked, but survived. Found covered in blood and limping.

Please keep your eyes open and report anything that can help the Police and Animal Welfare with their investigation.

Mcast Agribusiness Institute
CHANGED ITS MIND

After reassuring us that their animals were well cared for and that everything was in line with regulations, MCAST changed its mind.
As soon as we asked for an official invitation to visit, they deleted their post, and possibly even blocked us, as we can’t tag them anymore.
Could it be a sign that they have something to hide?
We’ll find out... stay tuned. 😉

6 Years Later... What Has Changed?

Six years ago, we exposed the appalling conditions inside the Mcast Agribusiness Institute where rabbits were confined to tiny wire cages, the floors were soaked in urine and f***s, and animals lived in misery, all under the banner of "education."

We were told by Malcolm Borg, Deputy Director of the MCAST Centre of Agriculture, Aquatics & Animal Sciences that improvements would be made.
But to this day, we continue to receive messages from students who are horrified by what they witness - conditions that fall far short of true animal care. Malcolm, how can you sleep at night knowing you are responsible for such relentless cruelty?!

Just because these conditions meet EU standards doesn’t make them ethical. As an educational institution, MCAST has a moral responsibility to lead by example - to raise the standards, not hide behind the bare minimum.

So we ask again:
What has been done? What is being done? And how much longer will animals suffer in the name of education?

🍦A chimp eating ice cream in a car in Malta might seem "cute", but this is not a happy animal enjoying a treat. This chimp is far from his natural habitat, reduced to being a social media prop.

❌ Ice cream isn’t safe for chimpanzees.
❌ Cars aren’t their natural environment.

We’re standing up for animals — and it's clear that Malta has people who care. People who don't let selfish wants justify cruelty. People who believe that just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.

💥 This is about what's right. Not what's convenient. Not what's profitable. Not what's tradition.

Do you believe animals deserve protection, not exploitation?

🌱✨ We want to pay tribute to a visionary chef who is proving that tradition can evolve and that progress starts with challenging the norm.

This Michelin-starred chef has not only transformed his entire menu, but also made the personal choice to go vegan💚, a bold move that reflects deep integrity and alignment between values and action.

With a powerful message at its core, his work reminds us: tradition is not an excuse for cruelty, and without rethinking tradition, there can be no true innovation.

By reimagining the culinary experience with compassion, creativity, and courage, he is using his platform to spark change and showing the world that prestige and ethics can go hand in hand. 🌍

We admire his brave stance and artistic soul, and we hope more public figures will dare to inspire as he does.

Thank you, Gauthier Soho for reminding us that food can nourish not only the body, but also the conscience💚✨

It would be so much better if "famous" people used their popularity to make the world a better place instead of showing off dead animals.

𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔: They ALL voted to kill wolves! 🐺💔

Every one of Malta’s five MEPs voted in Strasbourg to downgrade wolves from “strictly protected” to merely “protected” under the EU Habitats Directive—directly against the unanimous advice of WWF, Eurogroup for Animals, BirdLife and every major conservation and animal-welfare NGO.

If our MEPs won’t even stand up for animals that don’t live on our island, how can we trust them to defend Malta’s environment, seas and wildlife?

We refuse to look away. We will keep shining a spotlight on every single vote, every single decision—so that next time you head to the ballot box, you can choose representatives who will protect life, not strip away its safeguards.

✊ Share this post. Hold them accountable. And remember: Your vote is the only voice they can’t ignore.
