A very cool display where a father and his sons harvested these 3 black bear in Canada. The damage skull is obviously due to a head shot that was damaged beyond repair, but it has a story to tell so it what finished as is.

Each pheasant and waterfowl season I keep a bunch of harvested birds to mess around with. These just came out of whitener and are still wet. They will become noticeably whiter after drying. Any guesses what the last skull is?

Moments like this I still think about that trivia question I got wrong at the Smoking Mule one night. I should have known. Lol. "How many teeth does a coyote have?" It's 42 teeth.

Black bear! These are one of the slowest skulls by far as this one took about 8 months to finish. It's what to expect for a time frame with a greasy bear but it's beautiful as ever as the finished product. Jaw is set slightly open to show off those teeth.

Preserving Memories!

My name is Catland Landegent. I am the owner and operator of Cat’s Custom Skulls in Chamberlain, SD. Hunting and being outdoors is my passion. We as outdoorsman love to relive hunting memories. When outdoorsman start talking, the stories can go on for hours. I always find myself looking at photos on Facebook or walking into the room in my home where all the mounts and antlers hang. I find myself standing there and able to relive every single hunt that a skull or mount reminds me off and thanking God for every opportunity that I’ve had over the years to harvest such magnificent animals.

At Cat’s Custom Skulls we want to help you relive your hunting memories too. European mounts are traditional, affordable, and they look darn good. Save hundreds of dollars compared to a shoulder mount and still relive that same memory of your hunt! Cat’s Custom Skulls offers a variety of skull mounting options. We clean big game and small game alike. Whitetail, mule deer, and antelope are popular but don’t forget about elk, bear, mountain lion, bobcat, coyote, fox and the list goes on and on. The size of the antlers and horns do not matter to us. If you are proud of it, it is a trophy! We clean doe skulls too! Hang your skull mount directily on the wall, put it on a pedistal on a desk, or hang it on a oak, cedar, or walnut plaque. Give us the chance to preserve your big game or small game skull and you will not be dissapointed! Message us on Facebook or call/text 605-695-2973 with questions.
