Harebell’s Arcadia might be one of my favorite juniors of the year. For several weeks during weaning I thought I was going to lose her. She had a poor appetite, was undersized, and she just wasn’t thriving. Then one day she started to get stronger and stronger, and slowly she caught up to her siblings. Never in my mind did I consider her a show or breeding prospect with the way things had been going, and there was even a short period of time where I had tried to find her a pet home. But nobody was interested in the small, “plain jane” doe. So I continued to grow her out alongside her sister, who was my original pick of the litter. As the weeks went on Arcadia began to shine until she became undeniable. At nearly 5 months old now, she is here to stay! I see many of her parent’s qualities in her, and I’m excited to continue to watch her blossom.

Love watching this girl get better and better. Photos were taken about a month apart. She is now just shy of 5 months. She's a little over posed in her new photo but I just love how her crown makes her look like a conehead 🥚😂

What an excellent visual breakdown of our Holland Lop standard! Notice that both "front of the neck" and "back of the neck" are equal in total value.

There has been some people breaking down the points awarded to their breed using a visual representation. I thought it was an interesting perspective.
So I present you with the Holland Lop break down!
Make note: I colour coded the blue points which are in front of the neck (overall head). Green has been given to points behind the neck (overall body). The remaining 16 points are fur, markings, colour, & condition (other).

Junior doe available. She was my pick of the litter, but I have opted to keep back a different doe that has other parts I need. If you need WIDTH, this is your girl! She has a compact body and great crown placement. She is a brood doe (false dwarf) not a show doe.

Harebell’s Flop Era 🖤 I love this upcoming black otter brood doe! She was able to earn her first (and last) leg this month. She is one of four Timbit daughters we held back this year and will be breeding back over the winter.

Last show of the season for us at RHC&C in Colfax WA this weekend! We had so much fun with our bunny friends. Our highlight was Harebell’s Blush winning her big junior class for her very first leg alongside her father Cody’s Timbit who went Best of Breed. Additionally we exhibited our new chocolate junior buck, Iris Field’s Summit who earned his first two legs!!

I am very excited to report that our Timbit X Katana babies have finally arrived!! We welcomed SIX healthy kits this morning 🎉 Both parents are sired by Topher, out of Papaya daughters.

Best in Show #3 for Cody’s Timbit this weekend under breeder/judge Doug Sprague at the BSRH show in Helena!! He also received an honorable mention on Susan Londe’s table. Win or lose, this buck never fails to give me butterflies. A few of his young junior daughters made their first debut, with Harebell’s Flop Era (Black otter) earning her first leg! Thank you BSRH for throwing one of the best end of season shows!
