This loss has hit me hard. I haven't fully cried since the day five years ago when my mom didn't know who I was anymore. I cried the whole way home that day. Two days later, she passed away. I didn't cry when she died. I haven't cried since except for a few tears here or there. I've been numb. I was numb when the original Willow passed. When my Goofy passed. I hurt. But I was also so numb.

But this morning, this morning I have sobbed and sobbed. I've been angry with God. Angry with myself. I've been devastated. Heartbroken.

I didn't even have Polywog a full month but yet, he attached himself to my heart. Everything I've done for the past 24 days, has involved him. In every room of this house, his presence is there. He had such a vibrant personality. I just cannot wrap my head around the fact that he is gone. I knew my time with him would be short. But I expected at least a year with him. So to say I'm heartsick is an understatement. I am simply broken.

Remember him this way. In his little froggie hat, throwing a tantrum. And if you see a kitty in need, please don't expect others to do it. Step forward yourself. Be the hero/heroine these tiny beings deserve.
