RAY CHARLES is a boy who was born blind. We believe he can see shadows out of one eye, but nothing clear.

He is a cheeky puppy and has really thrived being around other dogs - they have taught him so much.
He has learnt the layout of his Foster mum’s house and goes in and out the doggy door ( he is very proud of himself, he may spend a few hours just going in and out lol)
He can walk up stairs but as he has no depth perception so cannot go down.
So a single story house would be best for him.
Toileting -he is learning to go outside, but as he cant see does have accidents inside.
Bed time-Currently he sleeps in a crate at night, so he can't cruise the house like a naughty toddler and play with the bigger dogs( which are his favourite things to do).
Being blind he has a great sense of smell and hearing. We have been teaching him to come to his name or clapping..
Meal times-Food we tap where the bowl is so he knows to go there.
He helps himself to the water bowl,but does put his paw in first,so there is water usually where ever he has been🤣
Nothing a mop or towel can't fix.
Personality-
He is the biggest snuggler and will happily snuggle in your arms and be carried around like the little prince he is.
New experiences
-Taking him out should be done slowly as sounds and smells overwhelm him if too much is done at once.
He currently goes out in a doggy pram so we expose him to new sounds and smells but he has the other dogs with him (both in the pram and walking alongside)
Ray loves coming for drives in the car as long as you talk or touch him along the way.

Perfect human/family-
He definitely needs a patient human that has time to teach him, and also an older fur sibling to help him gain confidence.
Once he learns the lay out of his new home you will see him grow and become confident in everything he does..

He is an energetic toy poodle who is looking for a loving home. He and his sister were saved from gumtree and arrived in an appalling matted state.

Older children please due to his size.

He gets anxious being left alone for long periods so will need someone who will be home a lot. He gravitates towards other poodles so another one in the home would be good to help teach him. Also better with older kids as little ones tend to startle him and he is only tiny - 2.6kgs. He’s still learning basic commands and toilet training is going well. He can be fussy with his food but given a bit of time he soon finishes his meal. He just loves to be around you and loves his cuddles.

Hi, I’m Taco! I’m 5 years old, weigh just 2.6 kg, and rock a stylish white coat like a superstar. I might be small, but my heart is HUGE! 💖 I’m sweet, snuggly, and love nothing more than curling up in a cozy spot or going on fun walks (I’m a pro on the leash!). In just a day I have almost mastered the toilet training and use the balcony grass patch but I need someone who is patient with me.
Im a bit fussy with my food and I am on 3 meals a day so I can gain more weight.
If you’re looking for a little shadow who will follow you everywhere and shower you with love, I’m your guy! 🐶

**MEET AMAZING MURPHY **

This gorgeous ball of energy has come out of his shell since being in foster care. He is living with 2 larger dogs and plays well with smaller dogs he has met. He was a feature dog, and very popular, at a local Santa Paws event, which was raising funds for Jade’s Dog Rescue NSW. Murphy couldn't believe there were so many furry and 2 legged friends to play with!
He came to rescue matted and underweight and needed to be shaved. Murphy is gradually putting on weight with smaller, regular meals. However, this pocket rocket burns up a lot of energy running around outside and doing zoomies through the house.
Murphy is a toyaholic and thrives on a game of tug - o - war, particularly with other dogs. He is good at sharing his toys with people and other dogs and sees everyone as his friend. He has seen cats through a door, his tail wagging the whole time.
Murphy loves a cuddle in bed, but has a favourite doggy bed where he snuggles in to sleep. This will come with him.
He is a good watch dog, so would not be suited to apartment living. He only barks to alert you, but is quiet other than that.
Murphy loves to come with you in the car and do some exploring with you. He is friendly with everyone he meets.
He will be preferably rehomed with another active, friendly dog for company, when he needs to be left at home for any length of time.
Murphy is a sweet, delightful little boy who will add love and joy to your family. He needs a securely fenced yard to keep him safe.

💔🥺Some dog owners don’t deserve to be breathing.

This dear little man arrived at a country pound in poor condition. The pound has fattened him up and asked us to take him. We have now desexed and vaccinated Taco and he has had his teeth cleaned and some extracted. Approx 5 years old chihuahua mix 2.6kg
We have him on 3-4 small meals a day at the moment so he can gain more weight.
Carer Lara is taking good care of Taco. 🥰🥰🥰 He is very affectionate and friendly. Transporter Michele also fell in love with him
