Hello,

It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our beautiful Border Collies, Stevie and Atticus. Our family moved overseas and heartbreakingly despite every intention to bring our dogs with us, we are unable to do so.

Stevie is a 9 year old female wheaton Border Collie who is such an amazing pet. She is great with children of all ages, cats and most other dogs. Stevie loves to play ball and despite her age, she will play fetch anytime possible. Stevie is a gentle, calm dog who enjoys cuddles and kisses, especially first thing in the morning.

Atticus is an 8 year old male lilac Border Collie who is the most affectionate, placid and content animal. Atticus loves nothing more than to have his paw shook, cuddles and kisses. Atticus is amazing with children of all ages, cats and other dogs.

Both dogs spent half of their lives living indoor/outdoor and within the last few years- as outdoor dogs. They are completely house trained but also entirely happy living outside. Both dogs were desexed as puppies and have had all of their yearly vaccinations. Both dogs are used to driving, going to dog parks, being on lead, being washed, groomed and their nails trimmed. Both dogs have received bones on an almost daily basis since puppies and have been used to eating a mix of dry and wet food. Both dogs are very healthy considering their age and have been extremely well looked after.

Please help us find a loving home for two beautiful, healthy, loving calm well mannered dogs. We would love more than anything in the world for them to be homed together.

Lead Trained - ongoing. Non-shedding coat but will need regular grooming as is comon with this breed.

Affectionate and quiet, loves being with humans and especially likes being physically close to daughter doggie "Maggie".

Our darling little Granny is looking for a special home to live out her last few years. We aren’t sure of her age as she arrived unchipped from a rural pound.

Our vet estimates she is 10. She may be more. Granny is a tiny foxy mix.
This sweet older lady was in a terrible state with -
💔rotten teeth ( she only has a couple remaining),
💔a terrible skin issue,
💔a Cherry eye
💔collapsed trachea
💔not desexed and has had multiple litters.

All of the above have been treated as well as Desexing and vaccination carried out.

A collapsed trachea can not be rectified but 2 x meds 3 times a day and vet checks are needed to keep Granny comfortable. An adopter will have to be committed to this regimen. She does cough but not enough to cause her distress.
Soft small pieces of food are a necessity as she has few teeth.

The personality of this little girl is very endearing. She is the sweetest little soul. She is affectionate and well behaved and just wants to be with her humans. She will follow you around happy to be wherever you are. She squeals with excitement when you arrive home.
She does need the company of other gentle dogs in her home. She finds comfort in their presence even though she doesn’t interact with them.
Granny is best suited to a home and yard where there is only one or two steps to the grass. She is house trained but her carer takes her outside regularly.
Granny does have some separation anxiety and will cry and howl if left alone - this is why she needs at least one other placid dog in her new home.
She can not do long walks due to her trachea issue so a little stroll around the block at her pace is best. A doggy pram is advised for longer outings.
Granny sleeps in her carers bedroom and is an inside dog.
She is very much a foodie and her intake has to be monitored.

This little heartbreaker will be available to only the best committed home who will love her as she deserves. This will be a hard goodbye for her carer who is teary while writing this profile. 🥹🥹🥹🥹

The perfect mix of playful and sleepy, Ben will chase after anything you throw, he loves his toys, and he loves to nap a lot!

A little about me:
My original owners moved overseas, and I found a great family with kids but they had another dog. I loved the kids, but I’m not used to other dogs, so that stressed me out a lot. I really want a home with people only.

I adjusted immediately with my carer, and she says I’m a 10/10 good boy, and she’s going to cry when I leave for my furever home.

Fact about Ben:
🐾 Ben will sleep in his own bed but he prefers yours.
💙 He likes to be near people, but respects personal space.
🐾 Ben loves cuddles and pats and being around someone as often as possible.
💙 Ben is house trained, and would love access to a backyard. He holds on all night without any accidents.
🐾 Ben is great on a lead and adores his walks, sniffing everything and saying hello to any people who approach him.
💙 Ben is very quiet, and only barks if he hears a new sound or something startles him. Once he gets used to the sound, he no longer reacts.
🐾 Ben loves food, especially scrambled eggs, blueberries (only if cut in half!) and chicken, but he’s not food obsessed.
💙 Ben has great manners and he lets humans eat next to him on the couch without without showing any interest in or begging for food.
🐾 Ben is very calm in the car.

What Ben needs:
🐕‍🦺 Stability. Someone who can commit to loving him forever.
🐕‍🦺 Someone who is home a lot and will spend time playing with him and his toys.
🐕‍🦺 Access to a yard for toileting.
🐕‍🦺 Someone who will take him on regular walks, but maybe not to dog parks just yet.
🐕‍🦺 Someone who understands that some dogs make him nervous and he might get feisty. He needs some patience and ongoing training to learn to socialise with other dogs.

Ben comes with his bed, harness, lead, toys, food and treats. Located in Parramatta.
