But found the love I needed to overcome all my obstacles. My Aunt Miriam found me on June 2, 2007, on Adelaide Street in London, ON. I would have gotten run over and killed for sure. Aunt Miriam put me in a tattered shoe box and brought me to her sister (my mom now) that same day, which ended up being her birthday. My mom looked at her sister funny before opening the box, thinking 'Nice Wrap Job!'
Mom opened the box and fell in love with me right away. Many people told mom to 'get rid of me' but mom insisted I have a life to live. She took me to many vets to see if my right leg could be stimulated. But alas, she had to make that decision... so, I had my leg amputated. It was only getting in the way, and if I kept dragging it, the vet said I'd likely get blood poisoning and die. I get along fantastic! I live with my younger brother Tyger (another rescue from the streets, he is a tabby too), and my dog sister Jade, she's a husky! Mom says she falls n love with me a little more every day! How did she ever survive without me? *wink*
