It is with a heavy heart that Omar’s will be closing our Vista location as of May 6th, 2024.

This decision didn’t come lightly and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for our customers. We appreciate all of the love and support from our loyal clients over the years and will continue serving you from our other two locations in Lake Forest & Brea, in addition to our online store that is packed with supplies as well.

The last day to shop in store at vista will be May 5th 2024

UPDATE*** THE STOLEN CONURE WAS RETURNED! He was left anonymously and was very happy to be back and being fed properly! He’s healthy and everything is okay!

Friends and followers of Omar’s, we’re reaching out for the community’s help in identifying this woman and her male accomplice in the theft of a baby Gold Cap Conure from our Brea location. Our hearts are absolutely broken that the trust and friendly environment we have built here at Omar’s can be broken and hurt so easily in the way it was as we watched this woman walk out the door with one of our babies. We only care about the life of this bird who needs the specialized hand feeding formula as he is still learning how to eat solid foods. ATTN: FB friends!!!! $$$Reward $$$

There have been a string of break ins within the last couple of months. They are targeting bird stores specifically going after Birds valued from $1500 and higher. So far, a store in Whittier, one in Artesia, Exotic Birds by Fran in Cypress, Omars in Brea, another in Redlands and another last night in Menifee.

There are police reports from different cities. We have all come together in the bird community to offer a $10,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension and conviction of these people.

The Omar's franchise located in San Diego closed on December 20. The Lake Forest store will still honor the grooming and boarding of the birds purchased at this location.
