Jodie, a popular DSRP Ranch Horse Judge, is an international clinician and former Australian AQHA judge who was on the ground floor of the AQHA Versatility & Heritage Programs! This clinic will cover a variety of elements in a Trail Class with time to practice the various obstacles as well as what quality movement looks like in all the gaits specific to Ranch Horse shows for classes like Ranch Pleasure & Ranch Riding. This clinic will be a positive and encouraging atmosphere for riders & horses wanting to learn more about the Ranch Horse discipline.

Patterns are posted for our DSRP Ranch Horse Show Saturday, May 18th. We'll have the trail and stock horse pleasure patterns up in the arena on Friday, May 17 starting at 2 PM for riders entered in the show to practice!

This show is a terrific opportunity to compete, to school your horse, or give a green horse or new rider a positive experience in our happy, relaxed show environment that caters to both humans and horses. Our mission: Helping riders and horses feel comfortable and supported in a show environment.

- If you need to walk the patterns in the show due to a worried horse or an anxiety-filled human, this is the show for you! This can be your trot-free and lope-free schooling show!
- If you are new to showing ranch and aren't sure about the classes, this is the show for you!
- If you need a schooling opportunity to help your horse relax in a show environment, this is the show for you!
- If you are a seasoned competitor but have some things you are working on with your horse, this is the show for you!
- If you are going for buckles and blues, this is the show for you! We award buckles at the conclusion of this Ranch Show Series!

The Dripping Springs Ranch Park Riding Series currently hosts 15 Schooling Shows per year with a focus in Hunter Jumpers, Classical and Western Dressage, and Ranch Horse Shows. Our Riding Series welcomes riders of any age and skill level by including divisions for Juniors, Seniors and even an Open division. We love to connect with all disciplines and breeds within the community and surrounding areas and have built strong relationships with our participants. Our shows create opportunities for new riders, those getting back into showing, young or green horses, or riders just wanting to practice their skills. Our Riding Series is a terrific chance to ride in a relaxed, supportive show environment where horses and riders new to competition or trying a new discipline can enjoy a fun show. For our seasoned riders, our shows give you the chance to get some quality riding in a show atmosphere and school where needed. Patterns for our Ranch Horse Show this Saturday June 17 are posted below and on our website - DsrpRidingSeries.com

We will have the Trail and Stock Horse Pleasure (signs on the rail) patterns set up in the indoor arena this Friday from 2 to 8 PM for all those entered in the show to practice.

Remember to let us know if you'll need a stall at the show! It's going to be a hot day for horses tied to the trailer. Hanging out in a stall with water and a fan is a nice alternative. You can reserve a stall when you enter through our online entry link that's posted on our website. If you've already entered and didn't reserve a stall, please let us know and we'll make sure your horse has shady accommodations😄

These shows are a great opportunity to create a positive show experience for young or inexperienced horses as well as riders who are new to dressage shows. If you have a seasoned dressage horse who has "memorized" the tests, you can literally freestyle your ride and have fun with your horse. 😄 We even have folks who walk their horse through the entire test just to get the horse comfortable and relaxed in a show atmosphere. Show questions? Please ask! We'd love to have you join us on June 3rd or 4th (or both days) for our shows!
