Buddy’s owner passed away and we have been trying to find him a home but have been unsuccessful. He is a loving, sweet dog. Buddy is 5 years old and I would guess, maybe 45 lbs. he is very adaptable and learns quickly. He’s good with kids and would make a great family dog.

Puppy of a litter of 6, ten months old, and housebroken. She is current on all vaccinations, spayed and has an ID chip. She has completed her first classes training at Petco (minus the last one). She needs more training as she likes to bite and chew. With more training, she will make a fine pet. She seems to be afraid of the dark.

She is 4 yrs old and around 75 lbs. I adopted her from the humane society. She has gotten agressive with on of my other dogs. I believe it's because a he has alot of energy. The dog she attacked is older and about 30 lbs. She has always been inside for the most part. I gave a golden retriever who she is not agressive with. She is the best with my 2vyear old grandson. Please help. I can't seem her being euthanized. I don't know of any jo kill shelters here. It is a very sad situation for me to even write this.

Need new home for Maka and he don't deserved to be killed by Humane Society and I am not expert dog training but doing my best to train him. Having hard time to find someone who can take care of Maka. I am leaving to mainland on August 31, 2022

Personality:

Friendly and loves meet new people, little patient with kids (must adult supervise), Outing such as beach and hiking, more attentive dog, learning some tricks, young pup, and stubborn.

5 or 6 years old

Tricks know: *ASL = American Sign Language
high five (speak/Gesture)
Sit (speak/ASL)
Roll over (speak/Gesture)
Lay down (speak/Gesture)
Excuse me (speak/Sign)
Eat (speak/ASL)
Wait (speak/Gesture or index finger)

Some train need to work on areas (biting or snapping)
food plate or bowl aggressive defending
(highly recommended after finish eat and empty bowl put it away high place and same applied on the below) he will be back to normal without aggressive defending.

When Maka picks up the sticks such as tree branch, palm leaves, junk bone foods from trash, he will be aggressive defending
whatever is on the floor and possesses thinking its a toy to chew aggressive defending
Rawhide is good for him but aggressive defending again recommend smallest Rawhide chew it and gone instead of big Rawhide may stress for him to find hide his favorite things.
Leash and unleash need training. Leash on for safety away from traffic on the sidewalk and long leash 25 ft for beach Since Maka is half blind and possible Deaf too.

unleash only in dog park and training until owner feels confident in Maka capability independent and listen to owner

The nØkill Network is dedicated to promoting no-kill animal shelters, organizations, and rescue groups by helping people learn about and locate these organizations.
