Nelly comes from a diverse background in customer service, warehousing, hospitality, and logistics, but her true passion lies in caring for dogs.

"They've always been a big part of my life, and now I have the opportunity to make a real difference by helping them look and feel their best. For me, work doesn’t feel like work anymore—it’s something I genuinely love doing every day."

Hailing from NZ nelly is adjusting well to the CQ heat and enjoying every part of caring for and grooming our wonderful dogs and clients.

As we watch the final sunset of the year, I can’t help but reflect on what an incredible journey 2024 has been for A1 Dog Detailing. We’ve experienced so much—staff changes, the loss of some beloved doggies, and tremendous growth. I’m truly excited to do it all again in 2025!

A heartfelt thank you to my amazing team—past and present—for your hard work, dedication, and belief in my vision for A1 Dog Detailing.

And to our wonderful clients—your continued support means the world to us. Without you, none of this would be possible! This year we washed/groomed 5099 dogs! I can’t believe it.

Kyla has been with us for a few months now settling it.

Kyla previously comes from out west on cattle stations with her partner William. Which makes her a super hard worker who has no problems with the heat.

Kyla's passion for animals and dogs is warmly welcomed in our team, and you will notice her smooching and cuddling your dogs at their wash appointments. As she just can't help herself.
