Kyla McNeill, Certified Professional Dog Trainer, is the owner and head trainer of All Paws Ahead Dog Training and is dedicated to helping dogs and their humans understand each other while creating a rewarding, lifelong relationship together. Kyla’s passion for dog training began when she was 8-years-old and her family adopted a high-energy, independent, Siberian Husky. This special dog inspired K

yla to begin researching and learning everything she could about dog training, putting it into practice with her own dogs as well as family and friends’ dogs. Kyla has previously worked as a dog walker, in a dog daycare, apprenticed with another trainer and assisted in training classes prior to instructing training lessons independently. Kyla strives to keep her knowledge and skills up to date by frequently attending and participating in seminars, workshops, and courses, both online and in person. Kyla attends events presented by well-respected trainers on an ongoing basis. Kyla has found that positive reinforcement and motivational techniques are the most effective way for training behaviours, while also creating great understanding in the dog, and fostering a strong relationship between dog and handler that is based on communication and trust. Kyla lives with her fur-family of three cats, two border collies, and two rescue dogs; a miniature dachshund and a wire fox terrier. Kyla greatly enjoys training and competing in the sport of agility with her border collies. Kyla brings her great love of dogs, years of experience, and keen observation to her work with all breeds, sizes, and personalities of dogs.

Our foster girl, Gertie from English Bulldog Rescue of Ontario just graduated her Level 1 Manners & Skills class with All Paws Ahead Dog Training!🥳 👩‍🎓🎓👏🏼

This is a really big achievement for our little Sq**rt and we’re so proud of her❤️. Gertie was found stray, and it’s very apparent that she came from a terrible situation with next to no socialization at all😔. I really wasn’t sure how she would do in this environment with still having so many intense fears and obstacles to overcome, but she did SO well. She worked through soo many triggers every class, from simple things like scary windows and reflections, walking through the parking lot, walking through doors and going up stairs, being around children for the first time, new dogs and new people.. the things that terrify her are things that most dogs don’t even flinch or think twice about, but she’s come a long way with her confidence and these classes have helped a lot🥰.

She had some ups and downs and a couple of fear based set backs, but she worked through them and overall she was the perfect little student, catching on so quickly to all of her new skills 🥳. We’ll be looking into signing up for level 2 with her “sissy” that she was found with at the end of April and will continue to work on what we’ve both learned until then. YAYYY SQUIRT👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
