The Newfoundland (All Breed) Kennel Club was established in 1966. The club promotes the following:
Good sportsmanship at all NKC endorsed events
Code of Conduct:
The Newfoundland (All Breed) Kennel Club (NKC) prides itself on operating on the values of the highest standards of good sportsmanship at all NKC related and endorsed events. This shall include, but is not limited to NKC conformation shows, obedience and rally trials, instructional classes, drop-in/open time for the general public, club socials and any other event that shall involve the NKC. It is the expectation that all NKC members, outside competitors and external visitors show respect for one another at all times. All noted parties should act courteous and in a civil manner, which is extended not only in face to face meetings, but to include non-face-to-face communication as well (e.g.: Email, Texting, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). It is the expectation of the NKC that no personal attacks or defamatory statements be made towards one another or about the operations of the NKC. In the event that such actions are reported, the board executive will address the matter at hand and seek to find appropriate resolution.
In the event, you have any questions, comments, or concerns, then please feel free to contact us via email: [email protected]. The NKC board meet regularly to discuss all concerns brought forward. The NKC prides itself on transparency and if NKC members, non-members or the general public have direct concerns, we would appreciate directly hearing from you. We value each of you as part of our community and are here to address your concerns to the best of or ability. The NKC wants each of you to know that we are here to listen and want to work with each of you.
Puppy Inquires:
Please be advised that the NKC is not a puppy broker, and therefore we do not sell puppies.
All potential, interested individuals wishing to learn more about a specific breed, should contact the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and/or the national/regional breed specific clubs for further breed specific information. As well, you may wish to visit the official NKC website for a list of local breeders within our province.
We lead by example, therefore let our behaviors align with the NKC values of good sportsmanship and good will towards all.
