These 5 Pippi babies went to their furever homes 🥰

All the hard work I poured into these babies, these have been the hardest to let go of 🥹 but I’m super confident in all their new families, they’re already so loved and spoiled. ❤️

Today was bath & Vet day for Pippi’s Moo Crew! 🐮🐾

We love Ponchatoula Animal Hospital ! They always do such an amazing job taking their time with each individual puppy and doing thorough head to tail exams ❤️ And their customer service is top notch 😊

Even though she is doing great, Buttercup is not cleared. She has Aspiration pneumonia which is common in bottle fed puppies. I will be giving her the prescribed antibiotics 2x a day for the next 2 weeks and then I will bring her back to the vet for a follow up.

Half the Moo Crew are going to their furever homes this weekend 🥹

Puppy spam!! 🥰🐾

Shout out to my village. All the friends, family, and just people who have become family because we met when you got your fur baby from me! They have all been so great texting, calling, coming over to help with puppy baths, and just cuddle the babies 🥹 I appreciate every single one of you! 🫶

Many have asked why this is Pippi’s last |itter.

So I decided to make this post for 2 reasons;

1) I have nothing to hide.
2) I want yall to know that breeding is not all puppy breath & profits like many believe it to be.

Pippi is now retired because we almost lost her forever 😭

Tuesday before thanksgiving I had went into the puppy palace at 10:30pm to feed Buttercup (our runt). When I walked in Pippi was nursing her babies but had drool hanging from both sides of her mouth which immediately grabbed my attention (because these dogs do not drool). At first I thought maybe she threw up (this is normal for moms to do especially when they have large |itters) but I realized that she didn’t and immediately called her to me so I could exam her further. As soon as she stood up I knew something was wrong just from her body language (call me weird but I’m in tune with my dogs and can tell these things). I examined her for mastitis (which I do several times per day) but there were no physical signs of it. I then offered her a treat which she turned her head away (now I’m really freaking out because this is not like her) and then I took her temperature. Her temp was 105.5 which is extremely high. I ran into the house so fast and immediately started getting dressed telling my husband “I have to bring Pippi to the ER!” Once he realized what I said he flew out of bed to and examined her as well and said “yeah being her” by 11:15pm I had her at our ER vet.

At first they believed that it was mastitis but that I had just caught it super early and that’s why there weren’t any physical signs. The plan was to put her on antibiotics and send us home. They took bloodwork just to ensure this before letting us go. By 1:30AM when the bloodwork came back they said she was sicker than they had hoped and that her mastitis had went septic. She was admitted immediately for fluids & IV antibiotics. At this point I WAS AN EMOTIONAL WRECK. Because not only was I scared of losing her, now I have not just 1 runt but all 10 of her puppies I had to feed around the clock every 4 hours! I asked the vet over and over “what did I do wrong!? What did I miss?!” And they all insured me I did everything right and that this unfortunately just happens sometimes and she is lucky I did catch it as soon as I did.

The next 2 days she stayed at the hospital she wasn’t showing any signs of improvement, her condition was just idle. I’m sleep deprived at this point and stressed beyond belief. The only difference was that the physical signs of the mastitis started to appear on her ni***es.

Finally Thursday afternoon they asked permission to lance open the site of the mastitis infection. After doing this she almost immediately improved. Her fever broke for the first time and she had more energy. Doing this left a huge open wound along her ni***es though.

Friday morning they called and suggested we do surgery to remove the ni***es (2 of them) where the lance was done so the wound could be closed and speed up her recovery. Of course it was suggested she be spayed while already under anesthesia. So this is exactly what we did.

I got to finally bring her home Saturday afternoon. She was on 4 different oral medications & an antibiotic cream. The first few days were rough. There was one section of her incision that kept oozing blood that I had to keep wrapped and change the bandages. And she kept wanting and crying for her babies 😭 which she absolutely could not be around them or they would have tore the staples out of her almost foot long stomach incision.

However, I am very blessed and happy to announce that Pippi is back to herself! She goes to the vet today to have the staples removed and one step closer to being almost completely healed.

I breed because I have a passion for Goldendoodles and want to share them with others. This isn’t just a business to me, these are my fur kids FIRST. And I wanted to share her story and our experience with others of the not so pretty side of breeding.

Cowboy from Pippi’s Moo Crew! 🐮🐾🤠

I had so many people that wanted a solid black male and still passed on this adorable guy! 🥺 This sweet boy is somehow still available for adoption!

His temperament is calm, sweet, and snuggly 🥰 He is going to be one of those dogs that thinks he is a 5lbs lap dog 🥹 He is already lanky, lean, and I expect him to be right at or just under 50lbs.

His coat will continue to get wavier but he will not have the tight kinky curly coat. Which this is a good thing for someone who doesn’t want to brush their baby every other day. This type of coat you can get away with brushing 2x per week to prevent matting.

Message me for more information and make this your families best Christmas yet! 🎄❤️

Beauty’s Foodies upgraded to their bigger play pen yesterday. I don’t have multiples of the big toys so I’ll be switching them between both the Foodies & Moo Crew daily. Time is just really flying by! The Moo Crew are going to their forever homes this weekend & Foodies next weekend! 🥹

Except for the couple staying here in the training program 🥰 I’ll continue to post daily on their progress throughout the time I have them, so the puppy content isn’t going anywhere for awhile! 🐾
