Puppy Tips 101
I’m contemplating starting a tip section on here that will hopefully help new puppy owners to understand and provide proper training for their puppies.
However, if I do, I would greatly appreciate and welcome any advice that y’all have as well BUT I do not want any “haters and trouble makers” posting their “know it all” comments and putting down others suggestions.
If you don’t agree with someone’s advice that’s okay, you DON’T have to follow it because what may work for some doesn’t always work for others so PLEASE keep your rude and mean suggestions and comments to yourself or I will ban and block those who are lurking about trying to find someone to put down and belittle.
Now with that being said, what do y’all “NICE” people think?
This idea came to me a long time ago but I’ve just been sitting on it because I do not want to seem like a know it all and offend others.
My sister got a puppy and she immediately gave it an old shoe to chew.
When she came home, she had found that her new puppy went into her opened bedroom and closet and destroyed every pair of shoes she owned except the ones she was wearing and she became very upset and rehomed the puppy!
I told her she needed to rehome herself as it was her fault and not the puppy’s!
She’s the one that gave the puppy the first shoe without training that it was not to touch her other shoes and that puppy didn’t know any better as to it, all shoes were the same!
She was the one who did not confine her puppy while she was away and she was the one who left the doors opened and let that puppy have full run of the house!
Raising a puppy can be stressful but I believe that WE cause most of the stress we blame on the puppy by not properly training it!
Anyway that’s just one of several incidents about puppies that someone has shared with me that I’ve been pondering on about sharing with others.
Please let me know what you think and please share your own advice NICE FRIENDLY ADVICE if I decide to go with this idea! 💡
