It's time to Celebrate! Today is Dylan Link's Work Anniversary!

We sat down with Dylan to celebrate the occasion and had a quick chat Q&A with him. Here is what he had to say.

What is your favorite part about working here?
"I've enjoyed being able to learn all of functions in our warehouse. It gave me a greater understanding and appreciation for the operation."

What is one of your goals for this next year?
"I plan to see more of the country this year, Nashville is the plan!"

How do you spend your free time?
"I spend my free time in the kitchen, mostly. My first career was cooking in fast paced kitchens, I never lost that bug. I'm an avid hat collector. My last count was over 100 ranging from MLB to Limited edition artist works. My personal favorite is the 1992 Super Bowl host state (Minnesota). I'm currently building a 1986 Harley to start exploring the country on two wheels!"

Gearcor is a great place to work because of the work family environment. Even though I work in NY I feel like our company does a great job of making you feel welcome even from afar. I love that my managers give me support and confidence to grow and keep growing to improve myself and my work and they are always willing to listen . We have a great group of manager's in this company that support us in not only our work life but in my experience to support you even in your outside of work life.

We had a quick Q&A with Kyrie in honor of her anniversary with us. Check it out below.

What is your favorite part about working here?
"I really love that we're a young company that embraces change. There's a lot of processes that exist internally and externally (for customers) that have been created out of recognizing an opportunity for change/improvement. Opinions are heard, valued, and implemented where it makes sense. Those are the kinds of things that allow us to grow as a company, and as professionals within our organization. I also enjoy that we can communicate in memes and emojis. Important to meet your people where they are."

What is one of your goals for this next year?
"I think my biggest goal right now is to deepen my industry knowledge and really work to embrace the Gear Expert part of who we are. I think after a year of learning processes, there's finally an opportunity to dig into that a little more. There's a lot I've learned in a year, but still a ton more to learn to continue to improve the way I serve my customers. "

How do you spend your free time?
"Video games, tv (specifically Star Trek & true crime), reading comics, and I love baking!"

Hobbies, family activities, anything you’d like to share about you?
"I have a fiancé and a 17 yr old stepson. Video games are a family affair for us; but Mario Kart turns our home into a war zone. We also all really love animals, and our wedding next year will be at a zoo!"

What is your favorite part about working here at Gearcor?
"My favorite part about working here is the team around me. They make every day a joy and drive my excitement to work side by side with them daily."

What is one of your goals for this next year?
"To drive sales at the store and continue to build genuine relationships with new and existing customers."

How do you spend your free time?
"I spend a lot of my free time either golfing, fishing, kayaking and spending time with family and friends."
