We are a 501c3 Non-Profit All Volunteer Rescue. Our Kennel License number is 13561 We have been rescuing and housing abandoned animals for 24 years.

SOAR'S mission is to offer high quality low cost spay/neuter to the public, helping to stop overpopulation of strays and feral cats. We have found loving homes for over 5000 cats and dogs. We have pulled many dogs/cats from high kill shelters, and from owner surrender to provide them with a second chance and a new life. I have personally volunteered with several local rescue organizations

and in 2014 started my rescue group along with a long time friend to help more animals find their forever homes. We have a combine 40 years experience in animal rescue. We provide education to the community on the importance of spay and neuter and provide high quality services as well as try and help anyone who have animals in need. Because we depend solely on the public for monetary donations your help is appreciated. We are also in need of volunteers. Together we can make a difference in the life of many stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals. We are an all volunteer rescue and 100% of our animals are adoptable. We are NO KILL!

Remi (Renni Marie) crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday with her foster family by her side ❤️ she left this world with the same bravery she has exhibited her entire life. She was one strong pup who fought as long as she could. She made a huge impact on everyone she met and she will certainly never be forgotten.

We cannot thank her foster family enough for loving her endlessly and for being by her side every day of the last 4 months.

Update: Remi was laid to rest, she fought a good fight, but unfortunately the decision had to be made to end her suffering. Thank you to all who donated towards her care. ❤️

Remi’s story 💔

Some of you may remember this sweet girl. Remi came to us in January. She was emaciated, suffering from Lyme/Anaplasmosis, and severe intestinal parasites. She was so so so sick, but the most loving, gentle, happy pup.

We very quickly placed Remi in to the MOST LOVING foster home. Her foster family, who calls her Renni Marie💗, has been working for months to bring this girl back to health and show her what true love really is. She completed her medications, gained weight, and has been so happy and spoiled every single day.

Unfortunately, last week Remi became ill very suddenly. She had bloodwork, X-rays, and an ultrasound performed. We are heartbroken to share the news that Remi has been diagnosed with aggressive cancer.

While her prognosis is not great, this girl wants to fight, and as long as she is able, we will fight right with her. Her foster family has been spoiling her with every yummy food you can think of, they are making sure she enjoys the sunny days, and long naps on the couch.

Remi will start chemotherapy treatments this week in hopes that we can give her more time to enjoy this life. For as long as she is here, she will be so loved. Please send positive vibes her way, and keep her foster family in your thoughts, as this is just beyond devastating.
