Starting Over Animal Rescue, Inc We are a 501c3 Non-Profit All Volunteer Rescue. Our Kennel License number is 13561 We have been rescuing and housing abandoned animals for 24 years.

SOAR'S mission is to offer high quality low cost spay/neuter to the public, helping to stop overpopulation of strays and feral cats. We have found loving homes for over 5000 cats and dogs. We have pulled many dogs/cats from high kill shelters, and from owner surrender to provide them with a second chance and a new life. I have personally volunteered with several local rescue organizations

and in 2014 started my rescue group along with a long time friend to help more animals find their forever homes. We have a combine 40 years experience in animal rescue. We provide education to the community on the importance of spay and neuter and provide high quality services as well as try and help anyone who have animals in need. Because we depend solely on the public for monetary donations your help is appreciated. We are also in need of volunteers. Together we can make a difference in the life of many stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals. We are an all volunteer rescue and 100% of our animals are adoptable. We are NO KILL!

FREEDOM RIDE!!

Harry’s second chance at life begins NOW! For nine months, this boy was confined to a puppy mill, bred for profit, and was unable to be sold. He faced a dire situation. Fortunately, we intervened, ensuring his safety and sparing his life. Harry has never experienced love, been inside a house, or had positive human interaction. Robbed of almost his entire puppyhood. He is terrified and needs to learn how to be a puppy. We will be working on leash walking, potty training, and building trust!

Unfortunately the most dreaded season is upon us..

Meet our first two orphans of 2025. These girls are true fighters and the only two survivors from their litter.

The only way to prevent the heartbreak of losing these innocent babies and the hardship that rescues experience trying to care for orphans is to SPAY and NEUTER your pets. Research low cost options in your area. If you feed them, fix them! It is YOUR responsibility.
