Friday fun getting soaked! 💦

This morning's early risers had the best time in the woods and meeting lots of new friends today. Red was super full of beans and encouraged Chase for lots of play today. Tilly was so proud of herself finding a ball, so we had a brief play with that together before hitting the water! Wilbur and Chase were both super happy with Tilly's find and made the most of the ball games. All of them had so much fun splashing about in the stream and getting themselves and me absolutely soaked and we're super excited bumping into Steph and her team at the end of our walk! 💦

My second group also had a super fun time in the woods, keeping cool and wet in the stream! Hunter is slowly getting braver in the water and followed the pups in most of the time, which is one step closer than normal! Harley was full of beans and let us all know today, with lots of singing. She was more than happy dipping in and out whenever she wanted. Bonnie and Rufus both showed me how good they are at swimming in the deep areas and splashed their way along the stream absolutely loving life. Mabel didn't hesitate getting straight in the water today, splashing about until she found her chosen log. She trotted about so proud of her find and even took it in for a paddle with her ❤️

Happy Friday!

Started off with Amber who was pleased to be out in the cool breezy weather this morning, although it got hot quick! We had a lovely gentle stroll with lots of sniffs this morning.

A splashy and muddy start to the day with Toffee & Maze as well as a brief bump into Robyn & her crew! The pair raced about, one in front and one behind with my head whipping back and forth calling for one to come back and one to keep up! They thoroughly enjoyed splashing around and Toffee loved all the new scents today!

Sooty was so full of excitement however calmed down a little when she realised I didn't have Maze with me today 💔 we kept to the shaded woodland which was a little over grown but she rummaged on up ahead un-phased!

Bailey had a house visit today as it was just too hot for a walk however this did not stop a small burst of zooms in the garden followed by cuddles indoors. He was disappointed to see me leave and pushed his head out through the cat flap!

Lastly, Amber and I had a cuddle and a snooze this afternoon as well as a short stroll up the garden for a little sniff!

Thursday fun!

Hot hot hot, but keeping ourselves super cool! 😎 My early risers had lots of fun sniffing along the pathways and dipping in and out of the river whenever they wanted. Dexter and Chase thought that today of all days, was the perfect time to get the zoomies and play like mad things together. With some encouragement they settled down. Both boys had lots of fun splashing around. Dexter needed some encouragement to cross the fallen tree to get to the other side of the river, but did it and was so proud of himself! Luna got all gooey when the boys were whizzing around and tried to join in a few times. She even got in to cool down her paws. Hunter was a whizzy sniffer today, darting around with his nose to the floor. He tried to get Luna to play a couple of times, but she wasn't interested today. Rocco also had a spring in his step this morning, with his tail held high. He had the best time getting in and out of the water on the hunt for any floating sticks he could grab!

My second group had the luxury of a cool breeze being made through the trees in the woodlands. We stuck to the stream like glue, a walk along to the end and back again! Wilbur literally spent 90% of the walk splashing about and even showed off some of his swimming skills too - this bulldog defies the odds of most things that a bulldog "cannot" do and does it all with pride too! Bonnie was super happy with her mooch along the pathways and being able to jump into the water whenever she fancied. She too went for a good swim in the deep areas. Ace was such a good boy, sticking close to the group, swimming in the deep bits, wetting his paws and still managing to get into all the good sniffs along the way. Tilly was such a good girl, fully understanding that the ball wasn't coming out today. In fact, she was far more excited over the fact that we started the walk going a different direction today and jumped straight into the stream from the get go! 💦🩵

Splashing to keep cool - Happy Thursday!

This morning Toffee & Maze had a fabulous time splashing around in the lake and sticking to the shade. They were particularly happy to meet local boy Ollie who stuck with us for most the walk! All thoroughly enjoyed a good splash. Toffee put his nose to good work and found a ball which he was insistent on keeping! Hence my photos today 😂 Maze was happy as always racing up ahead to each new section of water!

Dexter loved exploring a new walk today and we worked on some distractions - ducks & geese! He did fabulously and made some brilliant choices. He didn't lunge or bark but looked to me for guidance and loved his go find games.

A lovely morning with everyone and hope this weather breaks soon! ~ Steph

Wednesday! 🐪

This morning the team had so much fun zipping round the park and splashing in and out of the water as much as they wanted. Gracie managed to find herself a bog to jump straight into, after following Wilfred into the stream. She came out black, so we needed to get her in for a wash off which she was more than happy doing! Wilfred was bouncing around like Tigger as always, in and out the water, back and forth checking the ball wasn't out and just having the best time. Bonnie was thrilled with all the splashing bays today and needed no encouragement to get in. She had lots of fun sniffing along the pathways too. Clyde and Luna enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the footpaths and both got in for a little splash in the shallow ends of the water too 💦

My second group had a great time in the woods, bouncing around the bike ramps, sniffing along the footpaths and playing together in the stream. We even bumped into Ellie's Walks pet care and the pups absolutely loved group races together. Chase was super bouncy today and enjoyed swimming in the deep bits of the stream. Wilfred showed off his leaps into the water, with everyone contemplating coping and choosing wisely not to 😂 Tilly enjoyed the ball coming out, even getting into the deeper bits to try and get it. Sadly the ball sank and no one could find it! Wilbur had the best time - he loved bumping into friends, he was amongst everyone making sure not to miss a thing! Meanwhile, Hunter was happy mooching for all the good sniffs. He joined in with the group races on the bike ramps and was super happy in all the new company too! So many giggles had on this walkie! ❤️

Thank goodness for the cool woods! 🌳

Sooty was in her absolute element today and was so excited to have Maze back out with us! She followed Maze and sniffed every scent straight after she did. Maze was definitely the leader and Sooty was not far behind! We were lucky that the woods remained cool as we took a slow stroll round them. Great to have the girls back together again 💕
