Great news for little Max! After a successful meet and greet yesterday, Max has a new family. Thank you to Freya, Heath and family who fell in love with this little sweetie and are going to adopt Max. In the meantime, he will be going to his temporary foster home. Thank you to Jacki and family for coming to the rescue when things were looking a bit dire.
After being thoughtlessly dumped with his two brothers (who both have homes already) a couple of months ago, Max has a positive new future. A big thanks to Laura, Abbie and Daniele who helped Max get to this point in his journey. None of this happens without our amazing foster carers!

This little munchkin is the newest foster pup of Dog Rescue Mudgee🐾❤️Found in a box abandoned in a park here in town. He’s been taken to the vets to be Parvo tested- negative 🙏Malnourished, but otherwise in good health, estimated to be around 5 weeks of age. He was so very hungry , cobbled up some Tucker the moment it was sat in front of him, he’s been given a bath and now settling in for some loving as he grows ready to find his very own forever home🥰We’ve named him Tyson- despite his less than ideal start to life , he certainly has a fighting spirit and surprising strength given his small frail little body. He’s a fighter.

One tired little boy met his new family this morning after leaving Mudgee at 3.30 am.
Thank you to Mitchell and family for choosing to adopt. That is the last of our Koolie pups to leave the DRM nest, all going to coastal areas to three very lucky families.
Thanks so much to Cody and family for fostering Freddie and taking him up the coast to his new home!

Hi Nora
Charlotte is doing well! She loves playing tug of war and chewing on her toys. We’re teaching her to sit, desensitising her to the lead and she is getting better with her toilet training too.

He's barely been out of the pound a month and Rusty, now named Tex, has a brand new home. Thank you to Cooper and family for choosing to adopt and giving him a great new life. What a happy outcome after initially being abandoned! This is why we do what we do at Dog Rescue Mudgee and we have a great team working together to save these beautiful souls.

Update: Freddie just had a yard check in preparation to start his two week trial on Saturday. Rod and I finally get to meet one of Cookie's pups who is going to be the third coast kid.
