Fenway is a 5 year old 88lb black lab mix. He has herding tendencies which leads us to believe part of the mix is collie. He is such a loving boy but is very scared of strangers. He warms up fast with a gentle hand and patience. Once you are friends he wants to be a lap dog and loves attention, hugs, pets and snuggles. He is house trained and invisible fence trained and loves the outdoors. He currently lives well with multiple cats and has been around children 9 and older.❤️

Born 12/16/16. We've had her since 2 months old. Healthy other than described below which I believe can be resolved once removed from this environment. She's a good dog, very sweet & cuddly, great with kids and other animals. We moved from suburban IL to rural NC and she is not thriving unfortunately. She's developed allergies, potential autoimmune response, and her previously low key anxiety around thunderstorms/fireworks has increased dramatically. She needs a nice suburban home with fenced in yard. Ideally with people who are home frequently.

Oliver is a very loving and sweet cat, he is about 2 yrs old, and weighs approximately 7lbs. He's a short hair cat with unknown health problems and a sensitive mouth that has made me change his food multiple times. Oliver has had a history of being a street rescue and I love him so much, but I can't afford to get him the help he needs or give him a stable living situation as I've moved several times since having him and will be living on the road soon. He gets along well with other cats and is scared of dogs at first. I would like Oliver to have a home where he can receive the love and attention he deserves. He likes to grab me or paw at me for attention he's never been as affectionate with anyone else so I'm worried he will be depressed without me. Please if anyone can take in this sweet boy and love and care for him for the rest of his life please let me know.

The nØkill Network is dedicated to promoting no-kill animal shelters, organizations, and rescue groups by helping people learn about and locate these organizations. The nØkill Network also strives to promote the no-kill model so that shelters that do not currently have a no-kill policy might take the initiative needed to gain the public, governmental, and financial support necessary to become a no-kill organization. Shelters that historically euthanized healthy, adoptable animals have been able to make this change - it is possible and we hope that this community can help to provide the ideas, education, and support necessary to make it happen for the rest of the shelters throughout the nation.
