Strictly positive reinforcement training. I am fully accredited to the IMDT (institute of modern dog trainers). I have worked within animal rescue for several years and training is my passion. All Dog training from the basics to the more advanced. All training is based on you and your dog, all my work is structured round the imdt's code of ethics and i strive to ensure all training is fun and enjo

Gorgeous Sid came in for help with recall
But we quickly identified a break down in communication between Sid and his lovely owner which had allowed Sid to practice some serious Spaniel hunting

So we set to work to rebuild that relationship and teach Sid the ability to disengage when the environment becomes too overstimulating

I love seeing his progress and his silly spaniel antics

As we say farewell to Tazzy as he's completed his training journey, I want to look at how far he's come

Tazz was attacked when he was a small pup, which in turn left him reactive towards most dogs, he could make friends with some very small dogs but they were few and far between

His owners did a couple of years of management but decided they couldn't live like that anymore

So an initial consultation Was booked with us

We went through everything in Tazz's life

And a training plan devised

Fast forward a few months and we sign Tazzy off

He's now got excellent recall, he can make friends and best of all he's just been to his first very busy local dog show without even so much as a grumble

Behaviour Modification takes time, it takes changes emotional connections

But when done correctly the results are phenomenal

I look forward to seeing Tazz around living his best life

I remember the day your mum phoned me in tears because you had bitten someone. I promised I would be by the side of all 3 of you every step of the way on your journey. And I hope you believe I've done that

Thank you for trusting me from day 1, giving me the opportunity to show your family the life you were meant to have

Thank you for loving Fudge and allowing her to be your doggy best friend

Thank you for trusting me when it was time to introduce a baby into your circle

But above all else Thank you for being you, for being there for your mum and dad when they needed you.

Rest easy big lad, I'm glad we got our farewell cuddle last week, Fudge wil be up there waiting to love on you forever more big lad

Safe to say Logan is perfectly happy with his week at the pawvoy hotel

Maisey was quite intent on digging up her owners very lovely garden So we provided a sandpit so she can dig to her hearts content

Socialising a puppy involves more than dogs and people Here's logan learning about hydro with the wonderful @footfallscanine Puppy swimming is excellent for puppies And I have to say I personally find footfalls to be the best around

The most enthusiastic in your bed

Today we taught Tequila to wait Tequila definitely thinks she should be involved in everything and when we started was doing her own star jumps

This evening Gertie learnt to beg.....via zoom I'm loving zoom training with puppies

Dog reactive Sandy acing her first follow on session with Joey doing all the stooge work

I roped in a good friend of mine today to do some work on Barney's reactions to people and specifically movement. My poor friend had to do star jumps
