DID YOU KNOW THAT LUV A CHIN RESCUE TURNED 15 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR? And almost all of our foster home volunteers have been with us since day ONE! Lots of lucky dogs have found wonderful homes over all those years.

We are hoping as many people as possible can join us for this special celebration at our Chinfests this Fall, either in Minnesota or Connecticut.

LACR MIDWEST CHINFEST - September 21st, 2024 - Redwood Falls, Minnesota
Definitely one of the best days of the year! All past adopters, fosters, and Chin lovers are invited to join us for a fun filled day! We'll have a picnic style buffet lunch, a few special events, and great conversation with fellow Chin and dog lovers. Even though we are a Japanese Chin rescue we will have a few Pugs, Pekingese, Shih Tzus, English Toy Spaniels and assorted others in the mix. Well behaved small dogs who are sister's or brother's to your Chin can come too, our record was 130+ dogs here!!! If you adopted a Pug or a Peke from us, join the party! This is NOT an adoption event, just a big, happy celebration of our wonderful dogs. More info will follow as we get nearer the date.

As all the SPRING FLING packages have been mailed, it is not too early to start you thinking about our annual Holiday auction. We had so many great items for Spring, we're hoping to get lots of donations of items for the Holiday Auction which is usually 3 times as big! You can mail items to us any time before October 1st, but we would love to start collecting things now! You can mail us at: LACR, PO BOX 243, Redwood Falls, MN 56283. We can only use new, and Chin items seem to be the most popular. If you just can't figure out what to send, you can send a monetary donation and make sure to note it is for the Holiday Auction. We will do the shopping for you and give you the donor credit. I have lots of empty tubs here just waiting to start storing some super items!! Thank you for helping, the money helps care for our FOREVER FOSTERS. The photo is to get you in the holiday spirit ;)

FOREVER FOSTER White Face is exhausted after all the excitement of the Spring Fling auction, but he and his pal FF Rusty wanted to announce we made very close to $3500 to help care for all the FOREVERS. We are thrilled and grateful!!

The SPRING FLING is over.... some of us did not win or couldn't quite match some of the high bids. But, do not fret, do not get down in the dumps, we are going to have a little early autumn drawing , end of August or early September, with maybe 4 or 5 entries. We will limit how many drawing tickets you can buy so EVERYONE has a fighting chance to WIN! Woo-hoo!

Just a heads up as we are closing in on the end of the SPRING FLING....you will receive your "invoice" as a Facebook message. If you won but your winning bid is a week old or more, we can't message you directly from your items won so LACR or I (Joanne Colvin) will personally send you a message so make sure to check things that you bid on to see if you won. If you won, do NOT pay until you get a message "invoice" from us. We will try to get those out no later than Tuesday. So if you haven't seen a message from us by Wednesday morning, check your "OTHER" message folder and if you don't find it let me or LAC know. Good luck everyone!!!

2024 Spring Fling Online Auction supporting our FOREVER FOSTERS!

Welcome to the 2024 Luv A Chin Rescue Spring Fling Online Auction~running Friday, March 15th through Sunday, March 24th~The auction will open at 8 am Eastern time on the 15th and close at 8 pm Eastern time on March 24th~Each entry will have an opening (starting) bid price, that is where the bidding will start for each entry~each entry bid must go up in increments of $1 (or more) no cents~ To place a bid, enter the amount you would like to bid in the COMMENT section of the entry you want to bid on~When returning to the auction album make sure you refresh your browser so you are seeing the most current bids and comments~At the close of the auction, the name of the winner will be posted in the comment section of the entry~ we will tally up the winners and send out invoices via Facebook messaging within 72 hours of auction close~
After invoicing is complete, we will announce we are done, so please make sure to check your other box if you haven't received an invoice~if you still haven't received an invoice please message us~There will be a shipping charge listed right under the opening bid for each entry~This fee applies to shipping within the US only~if you are out of the country there will be an additional charge~Payment may be made by either PayPal, VENMO, or personal check~our PayPal name is: [email protected] or you can click the PayPal link at the bottom of our website's homepage: www.luvachinrescue.org ~ VENMO, open up your Venmo, type in the search bar and choose us under charities ~ Personal checks should be mailed to: Luv A Chin Rescue, PO Box 243, Redwood Falls, MN 56283~PayPal /VENMO payment MUST be made within 3 days of receiving your invoice, checks must be received within 10 days of receiving your invoice via FB message~ if payments are not received in a timely basis the item will be offered to the next highest bidder, PLEASE make your payment as soon as you receive the invoice we will start shipping out your items as soon as payment is received!

Tomorrow afternoon we will start loading the SPRING FLING online auction photos into an album then on Thursday the 14th will start adding descriptions, then Thursday night add the Opening Bids and Shipping for each entry. You are welcome to take a peek but remember, NO BIDDING until the 15th, starting at 8am Eastern time. All the auction instructions will be posted ahead of time and also on the album. We will post the auction link daily, and also pin it to the top of the FB page if you are searching for it once the auction has started. The auction runs 3/15 - 3/24!
