A friendly reminder, we still need items for our SPRING FLING Mini-Auction! You can send to us at: LACR, PO BOX 243, Redwood Falls, MN 56283. If you would rather hang onto your item/items we will need a clear photo/photos and detailed description (size, measurements, fiber content etc) Deadline is 3/14 for getting your items. Please donate, the proceeds of the auctions support the FOREVER FOSTERS and we all look forward to such fun auctions!

Winter is here but going by fast....then comes one of our favorite days of the year! We have a great VALENTINES DAY DRAWING planned to run from February 1st through February 13th with the drawing held on the 14th ~ and we have three wonderful drawing choices you can put your drawing tickets toward ~ we'll have three big winners! More info to come!

All the items that have been held up because of the postal strike in Canada have now been shipped! I'm sure there was a backup of mail so give it a couple weeks but if you haven't gotten your item by the first of January, let us know!

We are jumping for joy this morning after GIVING TUESDAY!!! The grand total is $3453 ...exceeding our $2500 goal by close to $1000! You came through again, supporting the FOREVER FOSTERS and Luv A Chin Rescue!

With PayPal and Venmo donations added into the FB GIVING TUESDAY amount we are at $999.... that is 40% of our goal. We EXCEEDED $3000 last year, can we come close again? We need $1501 to hit our lowered goal this year of $2500.
CAN WE DO IT??????

Hey Finley! Wake up!! The Most Wonderful Day of the year is almost here!! GIVING TUESDAY IS TOMORROW!!! It’s a day when we GIVE WHAT WE CAN to the CHARITIES Most Near and Dear to our furry little hearts!!

Luv A Chin Rescue has a great Giving Tuesday Fundraiser going on right now and it’s OUR job to make sure every one knows! Big Sister Mollie always said.. AIM HIGH! Shoot for the Moon and YOU WILL LAND ON A STAR… or something like that!

Oh well! You rest up, Finley.. because tomorrow we have WORK TO DO!!

We want to give a big round of applause to Melissa Jones for creating another great calendar for us to enjoy every month of 2025! It takes hours of planning and computer time, and we are so grateful she agreed to do this again this year. And besides being a great calendar designer she is also a master photographer! Bravo Melissa!

The 2025 LACR calendar is getting ready to go to the printers and is looking GREAT! Should be ready to order real soon. We will post the link so you will be able to order directly from the printer...WooHoo!!!

The Canadian postal strike is still going on so that means the items that were being shipped from Canada haven't been able to go anywhere yet. If any of the items are meant to be a Christmas gift, please contact Kym Van Rooyen. She did check on how much it would be to courier the quilt, and it was over $200 so that didn't seem feasible. Hopefully everyone can be patient and hopefully the postal workers can reach a settlement soon.

These are the items that are waiting to get shipped from Canada....they haven't settled the postal workers strike yet! Items are packed up and ready to ship as soon as it's over. Thank you for your patience!

While everyone is getting in the holiday spirit and saw all the neat things that were donated for the Holiday Auction...it's not too early to think about donating items to our SPRING FLING mini-auction in late March/April. It seems like everyone had fun seeing all the great items that were offered to bid on.
And if you can't think of what to donate you can send $$ and we'll do the shopping for you! With the money that was donated for us to shop with for Holiday we tripled your investment!!! Yay! Your dollar donation or items can be sent to LACR, PO BOX 243, Redwood Falls, MN 56283. You can also order things from Amazon and have them shipped directly here too...just let us know what you have ordered.
