Got straw? Think ahead. The weather will be frigid and frozen for days, you're gonna need some straw for your outside dogs and cats. Straw is much more effective then hay and/or a blanket. Blankets hold moisture and can freeze over. Better yet, bring them inside
TN Law (39-14-202) requires that you have adequate structure and/or shelter for your outside animals.

Does anyone use a dog car seat when traveling with their pet? I drive 45 minutes to work and Olive would rather ride in my lap but I won’t let her because 75S in the morning and 75N in the evening is insane and too dangerous. I currently
have what you see pictured. It says up to 18 pounds, Olive is 12 pounds and barely fits. Once she lays down she looks fairly comfortable but she truly looks like a stuffed sausage in it lol. If you have ideas let me know. I know a crate would be the safest but she wants to be right next to me and able to touch me, she’s very attached.

Some Christmas pics from my dogs. Button and Olive are both wearing their new collars and Benelli and Never are worn out from playing with their new Kong bear. Everything was purchased from Critter’s Feed & Supply crittersfands. We love that store! Also, please excuse my carpet, it was full of dog hair and stuffed animal bits, they had a wild morning!
