She has come such a long way! Look at Cream-y go, thanks to some great supplements and a real food diet! Both girls are available for adoption in the Pacific Northwest. They are bonded (mother & daughter), so they need to stay together. You can view further details about them on Petfinder.com or adoptapet.com.
Yesh, Creamy is getting a little more playful! She's been on doggy CBD from Canna Companion and is already showing some promising results (pain relief and flexibility). The wild one bouncing around in the video is her daughter, Kahlua 😄
Kahlua enjoys playing fetch with her mini tennis ball, and Cream-y is trying to help 😄
I am guessing this may be Robin's first snow experience. There's not much of it, but she took it like a trooper. Maybe I have to look at little boots for her after all 😄
Robin LOVES sleeping bags, but making and getting in to bed on her own is challenging at times 😄

ROBIN UPDATE:
Ok, she visited the Specialist yesterday so he could take a closer look at (down) her throat and nasal areas, and do a dental if it was safe to proceed.
The good news: She's in great spirits today! Slept well, ate well, and in her usual spunky form. The Doc did not find any masses or issues requiring further surgical intervention. X-rays of her lungs looked good and her blood work was pretty good.
The neutral news: She did have her dental done and two teeth needed to be extracted. He also found that quite a few off her teeth were broken off, but over time her gum tissue and bone have reabsorbed the remaining pieces and they do not seem to cause any issues. Taking those out would be complicated, expensive, and lead to possible jaw fractures - no need to put her through that!
The "bad" news (although it's not THAT bad): She does have a partially collapsed trachea and one of her nasal passages is restricted. In other words, she encounters two compromised airways as she breathes. Add to that a tendency to produce quite a bit of mucous and you get a little snotty, sneezing, wheezing Robin. There's no good surgical solution, so she goes through life with some breathing challenges. Not detrimental, but challenging at times.
The other yucky part: another $1300 Vet bill (and that's WITH a generous rescue discount) :-(
So in all, we now know more about why she has breathing challenges, she has a clean(er) mouth, and overall is a pretty healthy senior. That's a pretty good deal, right? We think so!

We're visiting the Vet on Thursday to see how her lungs and bloodwork are coming along.
Ooooh cuteness! We need you to get better, little Robin! Patience is not my strong point. The plan is to have another Vet recheck on Thursday, hopefully with a flight scheduled shortly thereafter. UPDATE: She is too darn cute! Little Robin getting little belly rubs from her adorning foster dad, Jaa. She had her recheck at the Vet today and has been declared 99% better! We are just waiting on the results of her CBC. Hopefully she will be cleared to fly soon.

UPDATE: still improving! Little Robin loves her broiled chicken, but what's more amazing...she walks away from food! None of my dogs EVER walk away from food! I have a feeling this will change once she moves into our household 😀
Tomorrow Robin goes for her recheck and we hope she'll get the all-clear to fly up to Oregon.

UPDATE: Oh my! The cutest little senior....ever! Robin still coughs and makes goose-like sounds, but she has energy, and eats, and looks so adorable!
She needs a lot of meds and requires rechecks, but we're so happy she's doing better.
