Here is our boy, Cotton, working with Quinton of Circus Dog Training on his recall using an e-collar. Because Cotton is deaf, he can’t hear anyone call for him. Vibration on the e-collar gets his attention so he can look for someone calling him. It’s been very effective. 🙂

Cotton, the deaf Double Merle, and his foster mom have been working with Circus Dog Training to learn alternate means of communication. Here are a few pictures (complements of Circus Dog Training) of the handsome boy having playtime during a walk. He will be up for adoption soon!

Disaster Relief from SARG was organized this week with pet food donations and monetary donations to purchase the food. This pet food went to UT Animal Science Department to be distributed to the Sullivan Co area of Tennessee. SARG also sent a $1000 directly to the Unicoi Animal Shelter that was flooded to help repair the damage done by Hurricane Helene. The 100+ animals were relocated with the help of the community to other shelters in the area. We want to thank all that were able to help with dollars or food for this effort.
