Daycare is offered on Monday-Friday 6:15am-5:00pm.
Reservations are required as we are limited on the number of dogs we can take per day. Thank you for your understanding.

Daycare Pricing
Daycare can be purchased on a single day basis or in packages. All packages expire 60 days after the date of purchase. Multiple dogs from the same family can share one package.

Requirements:
All dogs are required to be current on their distemper (DHLPP), Rabies, and bordetella vaccination (canine cough) to join daycare.
A f***l test every 6 months is also highly recommended.
All dogs over 1.5 years must be spayed or neutered.
Dogs must be over 12 weeks to join dog daycare.
All dogs must pass a temperament evaluation prior to admittance into our daycare program. Please call in advance to schedule an evaluation.
Boarding
Let us watch your K9 while you are away! K9’s who board with us overnight stay in private kennels. Each kennel has a kuranda bed and a fleece blanket. K9's who have passed their temperament test and have attended daycare have the option of adding daycare to their stay for an additional $5. K9's who choose not to participate in daycare will be taken out on an individual basis multiple times throughout the day with a daycare attendant and have a chance to run and play in our indoor and outdoor play areas.
Pricing
$40 for up to 24 hours. After 24 hours, the price is charged hourly.
At this time we do not offer a discount for multiple dogs from the same family.
Training
Lake Erie K9-5 offers both play and train as well as board and train through Lake Erie K9 Concepts.
Play and Train is private one on one training while your dog attends daycare. This will allow your K9 to “bone up” on his/her manners and then go back out to play with their furry pals. This training can include anything from leash walking and confidence building, to polite greetings, or just a new trick to impress your friends and family.
Board and train is a two-week program in which your K9 stays at our facility. During this two-week period, K9’s will engage with other dogs during daycare. When they are not attending daycare our trainer from Lake Erie K9 Concepts will work on teaching your K9 basic obedience including Loose leash walking, Sit on verbal and signal, Down on verbal and signal, Sit-Stay, Down-Stay, Come when called, Leave It, and Spot. A follow up session will take place at the end of the two-week program to help the owner learn their K9’s new skills and to instruct the owner how to practice and how to integrate those skills into daily life, and support them with positive reinforcement.
