I offer up to 2 field group walks per day, Mon-Fri. I'm out 8am-11am / 1pm. Each walk lasts 1hr -2hrs

Friday was a treat. It was a beautiful day and the 6 amigo's, including our boarder Alfie and daycare Bella got to explore linn park and went mad for the sandpits. The river was high so we skipped through the wooded riverside walk and headed towards the old golf course! Then it was time to drop Layla home on her final ever Friday with us 🥰 🥺 The beautiful spaniel girl who inspired many a dogless family (including ours) to get one of their own. Our little cocker spaniel adores Layla ❤️
Of all the weeks of the year, our tumble dryer conked out last week and so Bella got to spend a whole afternoon with Derek working from home. Her dreamboat. A nice man (but maybe not quite the calibre of Derek) came to fix said dryer -even though it was 3 weeks out of warranty. The smelly damp bits can finally get washed. "Yippee for Derek getting the kinda nice-ish man to help!" said Bella!
Let's skip through the rest of the week. Brrrrrrraltic and wet and muddy. Little coats on please when conditions are so yucky as little wet dogs shiver in the cold 🥶 🥶 ❄️
Warm showers for daycares and towel downs for wee walkers.
Not very often does this happen but Dixie got a carry on Thursday, her little legs really were struggling in the mud, even though I showed her a better route, she wanted to follow her friends. Bless. We finally let her run on more solid and green ground! Wee lamb x
We loved MaisieB in her yellow raincoat with hood 😍 we could see her for miles! but that's also because her equafleece was drookit from Tuesday. Still it did the job keeping her warm and dry x
We met a lot of lovely people this week on our adventures and sometimes we got so carried away talking about all you lovely lot and watching you all play, we forgot to take photos. Sometimes it was too wet and sometimes fingers were too numb but here's the good bits x
Alfie has spent most of his weekend beside a roaring fire. Stay cosy all x

Today was bitterly cold and muddy and damp .. the leads are soaking and the van stinks of wet everything.

Well done everyone, surviving Hallowe'en and bon fire night. (I say this, listening to the fireworks 🎇 on a Sunday night and just imagine all the wee scared dogs and animals who thought it was over for another year). I am sorry , I did mention it individually but (for your 2026 diary) Remember, remember 5th of November...Nae Fireworks event at Whitelees every year. The visitor centre is doggy friendly and the café serves hot drinks and snacks right up to 9.30pm on the night. It's becoming increasingly popular every year. Get there while it's still light. Give yourself and your doggy a break from the stress of it all. Let's all meet up next year 🎇🐶🐶🐶🐶 Every dogs favourite; Derek ensures the event runs smoothly x

So last week catch up. We've not chatted since Ringo's 🎂
Since then, he's been for a sleepover, had a ball and is now home xx good boy!!

Last week, I got a wee bit carried away trying to get a good jumping-over-the-stream snap. Streams are back in glorious full flow x But oh, we were shivering on Wednesday the rain did not let up and we needed our dry robes on. I think it was a bit of a shock!! *A wee plug for an equafleece type jacket I got Elsie. Rydale is warm and although it's not waterproof, it is absorbent. I bought another! So affordable and with a zip and velcro polo-neck to protect from nasties.*

Let's give Georgie a special mention, then 😍.. White by name, White by nature, beautiful , stunning... until she clocks you turn your back for a split second and she's head to toe black from rolling in the stinkiest stuff she can find! 🫣🤣

Today Ringo turned 5! We really don't over- indulge at walkidoggi however when the party is brought to us, it would be rude not to offer a nibble of all the goodies that the birthday boy has brought with him. Ringo's family really do know how to party!

Wednesday, we came across a gaggle.. a rabble..!?? , a ramble.. of Ramblers en mass.. on our patch!! And we were a bit unsure what to do until we decided to just get in about them and fling ourselves about. The pack of Ramblers behaved themselves and gave out cuddles and nice soothing noises which only encouraged us more! I think we definitely scared them off and they're going to find a new patch or else.. we made the whole experience even better for them and they'll bring more friends next time!
We're all very proud of ourselves as we are all bloody gorgeous by all accounts!
Lovely woodland walks for the rest of the week with all the autumn colours and plenty of squirrels to chase. Friday's are an absolute treat where time knows no limits especially when the sun shines.

Celebrating my birthday 🎂🎈, after a walk in the rain, isn't the best idea you've had Gill!
Georgie's birthday was Friday and she took the day off. I think she was avoiding the fuss. She's not that bothered with public displays of adoration, especially when she has her raincoat on and a party hat, and the party has already been!
You can tell by the faces that everyone agreed it was a bit unnecessary.. but rules are rules.
Happy birthday gorgeous wee G. Cannot believe you've put up with me for almost 5 years, since that first snowy walk when you were carried in a blanket by Ana. We wuv woo.
It's easy to get a smile out of them if you show them the birthday treats!

A memory popped up showing our Miss Coco on her 2nd birthday and here we are, 5 years on, celebrating with her for the 7th time. Straight away my child, who's loved Coco since she herself was 7 years old, asked if I felt old! 😂
No! I'm delighted that their lives are all pretty much the same now as they were then, we're the same group and she has had the same friends celebrating with her year in, year out. That's some achievement! How lucky is Coco! How lucky are we! Here's to many more xx

And so our epic 2.5 hour walk today rounds off our slower paced October week.
We met Star today - I've been desperate to bump into her and Lorna for a while now since she took her on after her previous walker didn't work out and Star is absolutely flourishing now! She's a different dog by all accounts. What a gorgeous girl. So lovely to see her exploring freely.
As for us lot, we explored every bit of the braes today, from the fields, up through carmurnock, up past the turbine (where we were joined by Gill and Archie) through the woods, (where they go berserk!) and emerging to the best views of Glasgow.

It's been a pea soup kind of week. Dreich and dull but so long as we don't lose sight of anyone we're all good. Coco's tail has a beautiful way of fanning out like a doggy tourist guide steering everyone in the right direction.
It's not a week unless someone in Georgie's house thinks she's been stolen from her kitchen 🤣 I am a bit sleekit in my ways around a house. Hide the family silver 😂 but always make sure there's loo roll in case I get caught short!
Maisie has been the perfect guest. Last time she sat through the Ryder cup, this time it's Traitor's! Poor Paloma said Maisie! Layla is unsure if she can trust Alan again! Elsie agreed... X
All three of them were a bit incredulous when we sat down to watch Australian Traitor's -because we can binge that whilst waiting for the UK one to screen again - and they turned their back on the telly to stare me out 👀👀👀
We explained it's winter now and the nights are drawing in and we must entertain ourselves with as much telly as possible x So they got all cosy and wound their necks in 😄

Look who's 4! Happy birthday Harlie. Hope the hat kept your ears dry! Such a good boy and very handsome! Sharing your birthday with my dad on his 80th!
But, oh Coco.. there's never a sadder looking doggy than a spaniel's eyebrows!
There were plenty of cuddles from passing strangers and a puppy golden retriever was lowered by the angels to cheer us up on a dreich day x
