Last week....
I think I took more videos than photos to be fair. They had such a great time. The fact of the matter is, the farmer evidently needed rid of some slurry so we had a field equivalent of doggy ball-pit to navigate. It was Summer's 4th birthday on Monday so that accelerated celebrations!
We had some lovely friends join us for walks throughout the week, kicked off by bring-your-husband to work on Monday. He conked out on the couch beside Bella when we got home so not very productive, especially when you have shelves to go up!
Anyway, the chinook helicopters are using our skies for practice and flying really low above the braes however the dogs weren't as alarmed as i was.
Fingers were very cold - you'll notice the photo quality improves in the summertime.

I've ordered days like today, for at least the next 5 months, from Santa. A little bit up and over all the low clouds and mist to a beautiful crisp dry and very still day. We met our friend sitting with his wee spaniel dog, very like Coco. This guy comes to the braes, on a day like today, with his miniature wood burner and all his bits and enjoys the beautiful surroundings x

Apologies for the lack of content of late, it's such a hectic time personally plus we have a new pup walkidoggi who needs more time Plus I'm feeling my age 🤣 and flop from long outings before mum duties kick in!! 😱 I should feel super-fit surely 🤣 But the most important thing is, we don't skimp on where the attention needs to be, on the walks, the love and the fun x

Thank goodness little Autumn had lovely winter weather for her first ever venture out into the big wide world today. At almost 11 weeks old, she's never ventured further than her own garden.
Today she might have thought her family had abandoned her, being left in our strange house, with us lot, and - all of a sudden - lots of different doggies. Then to travel in the van, with more dog friends and THEN to find herself in the middle of a wilderness, in a pack This must have been overwhelming but she did so so well. Little carries, little steps, little carries and some more little steps... 🐾 Small step for a puppy, big step for a walkidoggi.
