Well, look what Zeke found on an open area search. Guy pitched a gun from one of the Benton Harbor guys in a nasty wooded area. Stuck his nose in a pile of leaves after about 15-20 mins of searching and sat/alerted…viola!
Never would have found it without Zeke !!!

We would like to congratulate PCSO Deputy Deal and K9 Ace on their recent certification and release to road patrol.

Here at Blue line we have donated two K9s to our community. We were able to facilitate this donation of Ace to the sheriff’s office.

Through our network of working dog kennels we found Ace and were able to get it done. Huge thank you to K9 trainer Chad Gilbert over at CK-9 kennels for reaching out to me and donating Ace.

A little unknown fact to most of the public is that police K9s range from $10-$20000.00. With that kind of price tag, donations are a huge savings to our tax paying citizens in the county .

K9 handlers are always welcome to our home to train and hone their skills. While I’m not a certified trainer, we can still work on the principles to master our craft. Handlers are a close knit, small group, that often encounter the same issues we have to work through. As a long time handler I know the importance of K9s on the road and the impact they make. Whether it’s demos to educate citizens or the suppression of evil in our communities by using K9s to prevent the distribution of narcotics.

We enjoy being a part of the process , even though it’s time consuming and often complicated, it’s worth it.

When I get new dogs and work leg bites, we have the decoy put his feet in milk crates to prevent foot bites, on back tie work we don’t do this.
