You know what time it is! Time for a cuteness overload with the adorable Miss Mimsy!

Mimsy is a very sweet and loving DSH black female kitten about 3 months old.

Mimsy looks and sits like a little lady - which she is - but she can give her dive bombing brothers as good as she gets.

She is social and confident and very brace with the 4-year-old and the small dog in her foster home. She loves to romp with her siblings and then join them in a cuddle puddle on foster mom's lap.

Mimsy is a purr baby who likes to hang out with her peeps and has been known to try to braid her foster mom's hair and give her kisses on the ear while they watch Christmas movies.

She would do well in a loving home where she can get lots of attention and interactive play, ideally with one of her equally social siblings.

Please give a warm welcome to a new baby and meet sweet, in charge, playful Tina!

Tina is a DSH Tuxedo, about 3 months old. She was rescued as a 2-week-old kitten along with her brothers and bottle fed.

Tina is smart, playful and loving. She is very brave and is the first one to jump into a new game, often showing off her kitten gymnastics. She responds immediately when she is called, and she loves a good brushing. She is destined to be in charge, and she has even found ways to play with our dogs. She also loves cuddles and enjoys hanging out on a lap for an afternoon nap.

She loves all of her toys, including ping pong balls, feather toys, and boxes. She's an independent girl, but she needs cuddles and snuggles. She often snuggles up in a lap, or with her brothers. There is always a twinkle in Tina's eyes, but she listens and wants to please!

Welcome to Serotonin Sunday!

"Heyy I just want to give an update. Mia and Quinn are doing amazing and we’re so happy to have them! Mia took awhile to warm up to me but she was all comfortable and playful. Quinn took longer to warm up to the environment but clung to me and is the sweetest little lap cat. Shes getting soo big too. I don’t know if you remember but I only told my husband about Mia and when he got home he was definitely surprised about Quinn but he absolutely adores both of them. They have their own room three trees and endless toy. Thank you so much for your help in giving us our fur babies."

Look at how happy these two cuties are! We're so happy they've found their furever home!

Hi, I'm Tic. If there's one thing I love, it's curling up with other cats. It's really great on these chilly, rainy, windy days when I can just sleep with a cuddle buddy.

I'm pretty great at cuddling, if I do say so myself.

Henri and I have formed a loose alliance to defeat the evil glow bug. I'm still not sure why the humans laugh when we give chase, but they obviously need our protection for now. Don't worry, I'll protect you too. I'll tell you a secret though - I like chasing the glow bug and hearing them laugh. It's my favorite.

Hi there! My name is Henri! I like high places like cat trees, window beds and your shoulder! I might be getting a bit big for some shoulders but it's the best place to see the world from!

My archenemy is that darn light bug I keep seeing. It's red and just appears out of nowhere on floors and walls and I can never catch it! But I will!

I'd love to become a part of your family and protect you from that evil laser bug! I think between me and you we can defeat it though!

If there is one thing you were hear us say time and time again, it is that we LOVE to hear your updates. We don't care if it's been days, months, years. Those updates, those happy endings are what remind of us of why we do this on those hard days.

And as promised, Sean gave us an update on him and Sebastian, who got adopted Sunday. (We were all too excited to grab a photo of these two together)

Sebastian is doing great with his new best friend! I mean, look at those belly flops within just days!

Keep sending in those updates, please! They make our days!

Phew, what a crazy week and it's only Tuesday!

This week we had 5 Happy Tails! It's one of the reasons I so LOVE doing our Adoption Outreach Events.

We had some fantastic photos with their Furever Families so let me re-introduce a few you may have met.

Sebastian was our gentle giant and went home this Sunday. His new family was so excited we completely forgot to grab a photo, but we'll definitely post a follow up when we get that update photo.

Baker went home the morning of our Adoption Outreach and is now known as Bagel. It was absolute love at first sight.

Malachi went home last night and is super excited to have all the fun with his new human siblings. I'm already dying for those update photos.

Matthias met his person at the Adoption Outreach as well, though he officially went home a few days later. He has been renamed Zues. It's quite fitting for him.

And last but not least, Bastian also went home at our Adoption Outreach and is now adorably named Oogie Boogie. He certainly loves his cuddles with his new mom.

This is one you all have seen before, but we're still looking for their forever home. We'd love if it were you!

Cullen (3 yo Siamese mix male) and Citrine (3-4 yo orange and white female) are a bonded pair of cats looking for a quiet forever home.

They were both surviving on their own in the wild before we offered them sanctuary and they are getting better every day at being brave. They are not hermits and like to see what’s going on in their foster home, but will need to go on a journey of trust with their people.

It is too sweet seeing them chirping at each other and doing body bumps and head rubs. Their foster home is very chaotic and so not ideal for them, but they should bloom in a quiet loving home.

Hey all!

Friends For Life Animal Rescue is looking for short-term and long-term fosters to help with the influx of cats and kittens coming through. We'd love for you to join our team of animal lovers who open their homes to these sweethearts.

Some of the perks, outside of the obvious cuteness overload, is that you do get final say in their forever home adoptions since you will know the cats and kittens best as well as a chance to meet their forever families.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm such a sucker for black cats. Just look at handsome boy, Oscar!

Oscar is a smart, friendly and sassy guy. Up until a couple of years ago, he was living outside on his own and is now enjoying the comforts of also going indoors and having fosters and cat friends who love him. Oscar's exact age is unknown, but estimated to be 8-10 years old. He currently shares a space with two other cats (male and female) and gets along well with both and loves to play and snuggle. He LOVES to play with toys and also garden with his foster Mom and hang out with her while she's working on art.

Oscar's ideal home would be one with cat savvy adopters that are used to "cat-itude". He is very friendly and loves to be around his people and to be pet but he can get sassy and a bit feisty on occasion when he's not getting his way. Having been a cat that was outside for multiple years, Oscar does enjoy the ability to go outside for short periods of time. He would be very happy having the ability to go and lounge in a very safe and secure cat-proof yard or a catio. Oscar does well with other cats with proper slow introductions, but cannot be in a home with dogs or young children (the cattitude!). He is now litterbox trained since coming into care, but can be particular about placements of litterboxes and also sharing. With multiple litterbox options, he is good to go.

You know what time it is? Time for another cutie to be introduced!

Nyx is a sweet polydactyl tuxedo girl about 6 mos old.

She and her sister Persephone have extra toes on all their paws that look like mittens - too cute! The vet clinic double checked that no extra claws were present between their toes, so are not worried about potential issues in the future.

Nyx is incredibly sweet and loves handing out kisses. She’s a bit skittish around new people, but once she chooses her designated person, she'll pop up onto your lap for a cuddle. She's also big on bedtime snuggles!

Nyx loves her feather toys and laser pointer. She also loves her sister Persephone, and would like to be adopted with her if possible. Nyx leads their little 'one brain cell' duo. She's an independent girl but loves the comfort of being around her people

You got a sneak peek of this cute boy yesterday with Henri. This adorable boy is Tic!

Tic is a DSH male born in early June 2024. He is predominantly white with black spots on his ears.

Tic is very outgoing and loves pets. He’s very playful and loves playing with his siblings or chasing a toy, especially a laser pointer! He likes to be in a cat tree and alternates between running up and down or just snuggling in a little tree hut for a nap. He also loves to cuddle up with adult male cats in the house - who allow it - and tries to do the same with the adult female cats - who don’t.

Say hello to our next introduction, sweet boy Henri!

Henri is a DSH white male kitten with a small black spot on top of his head. He was born in May of 2024.

Henri is very affectionate and has a great purr motor! He can be a little pushy about wanting to climb up his human and perch on a shoulder. He’s slowly learning that he is NOT a parrot! Henri loves playing with both humans and his kitten buddies and running up and down his cat tree. His favorite toys are the feather toy and the laser pointer. He is very people-oriented and would do well in a home where someone is often there to keep him company.

Today I'd like to introduce you to this sweet boy. Please meet Simon! I personally got to meet this boy at our adoption event this passed weekend. Such a cutie!

Simon is a DSH black and white male with an adorable smudge on his nose. He was born in May of 2024.

Simon can be a little shy at first, but once he’s acquainted with his human, he is very affectionate. He loves giving kisses.

Simon is an even tempered, relaxed little guy. He’s very playful without being too rough. He loves to climb on a cat tree and chase pompoms or a feather toy. He also likes to tumble around with his siblings.

Welcome to our first of many featured cats! Please allow me to introduce you to Ivy.

Ivy is a beautiful 2-3-year-old DSH snowshoe Siamese, has brilliant blue eyes that capture your attention and a kitten-like playfulness and energy. She was spayed after one litter of kittens, and was known to be a wonderful, attentive mother to them. Alone now, she's in search of a forever home where she can be lavished with love attention.

She loves to curl up in your lap and nap, or nap on a cozy blanket. When she's awake, she's chatty with her people (particularly at meal time), and like to interact. She's self-entertaining when toys are available, but particularly loves interactive play with someone on the other end of a feathered stick.

She needs a home where she's the only pet. In addition to being spayed, she's been microchipped, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, is up-to-date on all vaccination, and has been treated for potential ear mites, worms and fleas, none of which she shows signs of having.
