Best instructions ever!! For those that are not aware, West Highland Terriiers aka Westie's are a Scottish breed. The longer part of the groom is what is called furnishings, or the skirt. But read, it says to "trim the killt." Love it!!

Today is a big day TWICE!!

FIRST it is our 31st wedding anniversary!! 31 years ago, Steve had more hair and I was a size 4... lmao!!

SECOND it is Zip a Dee Doo Dogs 10th anniversary!! We started in a DIY grooming van to see how this would work out, and here we are 10 years later in a beautiful van that is now 6.5 years running. We even got shirts for the occasion!!

Life is good!!

So this is pretty amazing. I got a call to groom a 16 year old poodle. I show up to the call today, and there is this old lady poodle in her cozy bed. I walk over to her and the owner says, "This is Gucci and she is 16 years old." My heart about jumped out of my chest!! I said, "Did she used to go to Posh Poodle Grooming in Lemon Grove?" The owner replied with excitement, "Yes!!! She was my mother's dog, and we owned Mckee's Auto Registration Service across the street, and unfortunately my mother passed away a few years ago, so now I have Gucci." I then replied, "Well get this, I used to groom Gucci and that was 10 years ago!!"
All I can say is "Wow, wow, and wow!!"

This is Shadow and Cookie, both girls are abt 9 years old. Their human Mother passed away last November, and human Father joined her last February. Currently they are staying with a family member that is desperately seeking a good home for them. They are sweet little girls that would do best in a mello home. I have been grooming them ever since they were adopted 8 years ago. All up to date with their vet health.
