DARL's FB page will remain open in memory and honor of Zan & Angie and all other dogs that we have helped together with YOU. He'll be 9 years old in September.

We have lost another pack member to cancer.Miss Angelina "Angie" Aurora passed on 2.3.24. May she run free with her bestie Zan the Man.

Angie helped with Zan when he had lost his eyesight. She would also help with PT to keep his mobility. She was strong, structured and a mother to her bestie and her people. Like Zan. She adored people company. She loves her shrimp! 😊🐾💜

Zan the Man who inspired me to rescue Pitbull type dogs has passed. Zan went to schools, TV shows, protests and spent a lot of hours with his family. He loves cheeseburgers and rides. May he rest in peace pain free and run again !

Update on Peggy Sue.

She has passed away. Peggy Sue was in a wonderful home and lived the rest if her life in the best way. Thank you Kelly D and family for caring so much for her and loving her. Thank you all for your support for Peggy Sue.

Another special needs pup needs a home.

Meet Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue was found standing on the road. No one claimed her after several days of trying. Now she needs a home to call her own.

She is probably at least 10 years old & weighs about 10 pounds. She had a couple of mammary tumors on her right side so when the veterinarian spayed her he also did a mastectomy on that side. He also did a dental for her & removed several decaying teeth. Senior blood panel results were normal except her kidney function values were moderately elevated. She is on Science Diet food especially for elevated kidney values. She is HW negative & fully vaccinated.

She is sweet & greets strangers with her tail wagging.
She is a little sensitive about being picked up so we are very gentle & make sure she feels secure before lifting her. She loves to curl up next to you on the couch & sleep. She also likes to burrow under blankets. She has a very healthy appetite & eats 3 meals a day :-).

I miss DARL. I never forget how much you all have helped rescue pups like Buddy. I hope you are all doing as well as we are. Buddy is not a people dog and that's just him. But he loves his pup friends. He has 14 or so that come over on occasion and say hi and play. He loves his walks and adventures. I am so happy I have him in my life. He will be turning 8 years old on September 23. Feel free to say hi or share an update.

Update: Princess. 1/14/2023

RIP Princess. Princess passed away from health complications in October 2022.

It's a been awhile for an update but here we go.

Princess! Firstly I want to thank all who have donated and supported Princess. She has been in a permanent foster situation for a few years. Why? I know she's adorable and a very sweet pup. It's the other pet issues. We tried multiple times to get her a home but, it just didn't work. Her foster mom decided to have her stay permanently with her. Princess is happy spoiled loved and well taken care of. Princess's mom and fam need help with food and vetting etc . Of course , I'm here to help forever. The first one thing we had done was get her a new vet where she will be established for the rest of her life. We did. They love her! Princess was a very good with blood work mouth check. Princess is a healthy pup! She did have an infection on the top of her mouth from a cut that happened when she was chewing on a toy . With medical attention and medication she is doing great!
Princess gets to go to work with her mom and live the great life that she deserves.
Thank you to those who did reach out and helped out with Princesses medical bills. It was definitely helpful. We raised 300$ the total was 484.00 . Every bit helps!
I'll update again sooner than later!

These three dogs are looking for a home. Unfortunately, their owner passed away last month. They do not all have to be adopted together. They are all 2 years old. The one in front is a male and his name is Bear. The one next to him is a female and her name is Snowflake. The one in the back is male and his name is Logan. Here is an update!

As much as I would love to continue rescuing animals. I can not.

I will continue to help animals find a home and oher services that are needed . Posting , sharing etc..

With this said. I will bemaking a few changes on this page. Daisy will always be incorporated with he name change for sure. Name change.
I have a very small dog service that I will offer to locals but limited.
It's my personal preference.
I am always there for a talk , walk, bath, or advice for your pets.

I have to say goodbye to Daisy's Animal Rescue League.

I'm looking for names that have Daisy in it.
I think it's fair to let you all get involved with coming up with a new names.

People tell us all the time that their dog bit without warning. This is a very rare occurrence. It’s more likely your dog is speaking to you but you either aren’t listening or don’t understand their subtle language until it is too late.

Had a great time with Malcolm and Allie today . Please keep in mind space is very limited from March through September.

Book one week in advance dog walks are very limited unless your dog is a prepaid daycare dog.
