🚨 Do you need an East Coast transport before Christmas? 🚨

We have a pilot heading NORTH from Charleston SC to the Mid-Atlantic on December 22 that has an empty plane! He’s happy to fill it.

Prefer pickup in SC/NC and can get them as far north as NJ or surrounding areas!

If you’ve got fur passengers you’re trying to get Home for the Holidays along the East Coast (Northbound), contact us!

The Mississippi Miracle - Memory Lane Part 3

July 25, 2021
Jackson, MS to Matawan, NJ
Elsa (changed to Memphis)

Memphis was a young husky that was found shot in the hips, paralyzed, and abandoned on the side of a Mississippi road where she lay in the sweltering summer heat for 3 days in July 2021.

Thankfully, she was found and rescued by some very caring people, given immediate medical care, and transported to New Jersey where she would get further medical evaluation and care. It took 4 planes and an entire day to bring Memphis from Mississippi to New Jersey. She also needed medications along the way.

Little did any of her rescuers know at the time, but they weren't just saving one life. They were saving four. Memphis was pregnant.

On September 12, 2021 Memphis gave birth to three beautiful, healthy babies. 2 boys, and 1 girl.

This video is our tribute to this incredibly strong little girl who defied all odds to not only save herself, but to save her beautiful babies as well.

This story is also a reminder to rescuers everywhere that you really do make a difference. Never let the bad days win!

U.S. Marine pilot Captain Jason, and his co-pilot U.S. Navy pilot Captain Mike, spent Saturday of their Memorial Day Weekend in 2020 providing a freedom flight to four pups from South Carolina to their rescue in West Virginia.

❤️ A HEARTFELT THANK YOU ❤️

Code3 Animal Rescue Aviation Team would like to extend a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to Lorraine and Husky House for their incredibly generous donation of a transport truck to our organization!!!!

Your support will directly help us save many more lives by now offering safe and reliable ground transportation, in addition to the services we already offer. We anticiplate to now be capable of transporting on average 30-50 dogs at a time depending on size, and even more cats. 🐾😃

When organizations come together with shared compassion and purpose, the impact is extraordinary—and having Husky House stand behind our mission as a partner means the world to me and to the entire Code3 team.

We are already moving forward with making the truck rescue-ready. Several safety upgrades are already underway at our repair shop, and next steps will include replacing the AC and heating units that keep the dogs comfortable in all seasons, installing a new generator, updating the GPS system, custom branded wrapping, and completing a number of additional improvements to ensure the wellbeing and comfort of both the animals and our drivers/volunteers. Realistically, we expect the truck to be available for local transports by Spring 2026, with long-haul transports coming after that.

Also, stay tuned in 2026 for ways you can get your business name or logo on the truck through partnerships with Code3.

On this Thanksgiving 2025, we are profoundly grateful to Lorraine and Husky House for this remarkable gift. Your generosity will help us continue our lifesaving work and save many more animals in need. ❤️🐾

Today, we remember Captain Seuk Kim and puppy Lisa, who tragically perished when the plane Seuk was piloting crashed in poor weather conditions in Albany NY one year ago this evening on November 24, 2024.

When Seuk Kim took off from Maryland with 3 dogs on his plane on a Pilots N Paws rescue mission, it was the latest of many, many volunteer flights he had made to rescue animals.

During this particular rescue mission, his plane hit turbulence and poor visibility conditions and his plane went down near Albany. Seuk, along with one of the dogs he was transporting were tragically killed. The other dogs have since healed from their injuries and found their loving forever homes.

Seuk, we hope you and puppy Lisa are looking down on us proud of the movement this tragedy inspired to save other animals in need. We will never rest.
