A very sad day at Spruce Creek. Our sweet girl Dozer is gone. While I’m sure Burley, Frazy and Mr Grif gave her a warm welcome, we will miss her beyond words.

Our precious girl was the most undemanding, reliable birddog you could ever know. She hunted like a machine chasing Montana grouse yet loved us no matter how often we missed the shot. She didn’t need pampering, but did enjoy late night movies, popcorn and ear scratches.

Here are a few pictures over the years. One thing remained constant, her eyes looking straight into my heart.
