As of today, 1 March, until 31 July 2024, please be aware that there are nesting birds and reptiles in certain areas of both HENGISTBURY HEAD & ST CATHERINE’S HILL.

In order to protect the wildlife on our heathland and protect your dogs from snake bites, please keep dogs on pathways, out of bracken areas and on the lead in restricted areas!

I’m devastated to say that Dermot passed over the rainbow bridge this morning. I’m thankful that on his last day he was down the beach with his furiends living his best life, and when I dropped him home, I kissed his furry little head as I always did 💔 I’ll miss his umpiring down the beach when Charlie and Jazzie played, and the fact he pee’d up everything I owned, cars, bike storage, plant pots, greenhouse, nothing was beyond Dermots scenting antics.
