Well everyone, It's Tracy Bartlett
It is with tears in my eyes that I finally bring the sad news new.
A couple weeks ago Roo started having trouble walking. He would stumble and fall over, he wouldn't be able to stand for long, and he had to be carried most times up and down the stairs to go potty. We took him to the vet, and they tried some antibiotics, and pain killers, but he just continued to decline. They said it could be a parasitic infection(brain), or the results of his Lyme's disease, but there wasn't much we could really do. A few possible treatments were several thousand dollars, but financially out of reach.
So after careful thought, and the help of our vet, we decided that his quality of life would just continue to go down.
Friday, July 15, 2022, we took him to the vet for the last time. Barb and I were with him to the end.
After this post I will probably not make anymore here.

WOOF WOOF BARK YIP GROWL!!!
I'm already getting tired of this(and hungry)
Ever since I went and saw that Dr guy, they cut my food in half every day, and I get very few treats from dinner any more.
I mean, I know I'm a little overweight, but com'on!
They say I'm suppose to be a little over 10 pounds, and I'm actually over 20, but that gives everyone more of me to love!

Well, I'm doing better, even though I'm old.
I got underfoot a week or so ago and got sort of stepped on.
Ended up in the Emergency room and had to have things called x-rays done to my front legs. The stuff they gave me in the needle was really good too.
Turned out to be a big soft tissue injury. We did find out I have something called arther itis in both front legs. My humans let me take it easy for a few days and gave me a pill everyday for the aches.
All better now. I try to stay out of the way a little more, but they still trip over me once in a while.The kids just leave me alone or hug me then go play some more.Hopefully, when the weather gets better we can go for more walks/

Went with Mom and Dad to the Thousand Islands with some other humans for the weekend. I haven't walked this much in a couple of years!
It's fun!

Kind of miss mine, but the stuart hooman is a pretty good guy.
