COAST DOGS Training By Dawn Bennett (CCPDT) Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed. Co owner of North Fork Dogs 2009- 2016 Dawn Bennett CCPDT.

Originally from England now located Sarasota FL. I have extensive experience working with dogs since 1997. I have had the great pleasure working as a veterinarian assistant, a dog walker and I owning a board-and-train facility for 8 years. I was also was co-owner of North Fork School Dogs from 2008 -2016

I am also a huge advocate for homeless pets, assisting many different rescue owners with

advice, evaluations and match-making . I sat on the Board of Directors for The North Fork Welfare League where I also served as President. I offer private lessons in your home or my home. My mission is keeping dogs out of shelters. I use gentle approach (LIMA training) utilizing "least intrusive" and "minimally aversive" techniques. Please see attached

Dogs love with a purity that feels timeless. They don’t ask for explanations or expect you to be anyone but yourself, they just stay, steady and true, through every moment.

In the woods, they’re your extra eyes and ears, alert to every rustle and scent, guiding you through the trees as if they’ve always belonged there. They walk beside you not just as companions, but as protectors, sharing in your wanderings with quiet devotion.

While people often complicate love, dogs keep it simple. They see the you that’s hidden, the one you think no one notices, and love that version the most. They don’t try to fix you; they just stay, offering their loyalty and presence in a way few humans ever could.

I walk my dogs EVERY morning.
I see some people walking their dogs,looking down into their phone. There is no engagement, no interaction and they give them very little time to sniff.
It really hurts my heart.

These people are (not all) the ones that call,when their dog doesn’t come when called, stops paying attention or never paid attention to begin with,or becomes overexcited/ reactive to people and other dogs.

This took four weeks of practice and guidance. The owner did most of the work. Well done!
