These two are the sweetest. Can't get anything done around here without giving them some attention 🥰
First time letting little Ray (the blind calf) out to graze without a lead. Hoping he will eventually settle in and be confident and comfortable out on his own. Watch and see how Jenny felt about her new pasture mate 🤪😂
Anyone want to see some "goat shenanigans"??
Starring Flyn! Co-starring Luie!
😄🐐💓
Attitude on CityFarm 😵💫
Jennifer "Help yourself to a cup of coffee"
Maisie- goes to cabinet to get a cup and finds this.... 🤔👀😂🤣😂
We can't even blame Jenny or Teddy on this one!
Anyone else have days like this??
We were asked a great question that I wanted to share and elaborate on with everyone. The question was: "Why did we choose to de-horn Little Ray?"
Of course we would not have done it if we didn't feel it was necessary. It is common practice for all show steers and heifers, for the safety of their handlers. We also want to be safe and since he will be a pet and handled daily, it was important to do this early so it heals well and he most likely will not even remember it. Remember, he will be 2,000 lbs one day. As sweet as he is, he is also blind and a blind animal can be defensive without provocation, they dont always have an accurate determination of danger and not danger, that means he will always be a little more prone to want to protect himself if startled. His reaction may be to strike first then ask questions (lol) and his only defense weapons would be a head butt or kick, so we don't want to take the chance on getting hooked by a horn by a 2,000 lb steer. Our safety has to come first. -Maisie
Thanks again for the question, if you have any questions or comments we would love to hear them. Drop a line, and we will get back to you. Love hearing from you all. Have a blessed day! ❤️
Good morning! I hope everyone is up for a wonderful Sunday! ☀️☀️☀️☀️
Baby Ray is doing so good, yall! He is coming out of his shell more and more everyday! He is getting more comfortable and familiar with our voices, all the funny noises and of course his dog friends and Jenny and Sadie’s presence ♥️
This was Ray’s adventurous day to the vet; and what a brave boy he was. So trusting and strong.
Send all your love to Baby Ray and let him know that we all promise to love him forever ♥️
To shave or not to shave??? That is the question! Tell me what y'all think?? We have been debating back and forth about this, we need your help! 😁
We had one on the loose!! 🙈😂 Lord help us here!
Am I the only one obsessed with these ears?? 🤩💘🫏
Jenny just out here just showing off! 😂
Just for giggles this morning 😄 Hope you all have as much fun as I am having today! This is an old one but a good one 😂
These girls always making me laugh 😂
Always on the same page… my real one!
BABY RAY’S BIG DAY AT THE VET ‼️‼️‼️‼️
Stay tuned for videos of our sweet boy!
Today started out like every other beautiful day, taking Ray for his walk to graze and then... escaping puppies created all kinds of mayhem 😂🤣 watch the chaos unfold. Never a dull moment on City Farm
Jenny always interested in eating everyone's food 😂🤣
The end is the sweetest though 🥰💋
Jenny and Sara Lee acting like bickering sisters! Jenny just taunting Sara Lee because she knows how to push her buttons 😂🤣 smh
Sara Lee and Scooter love when baby Ray doesn't finish his bottle. They love leftovers 😂🐷
At the same time, I have Finn nibbling in my armpit 😂
Always entertaining here at City Farm 😄❤️
~love Maisie
