Doggone Good Food for your Furry Friend

Houndcakes Gourmet Cookies for Dogs was inspired by our fosters and rescues. We adopted many of our fosters while continuing to help our local shelter. With a house full of dogs, their food was getting expensive, so we decided to make it for them. At this time, reports of foreign made dog treats harming pets were increasing in frequency. With that in mind, we started wondering if we could turn their new food into a breakfast, lunch or dinner cookie. After considerable research, experimentation and many taste tests using different ingredients and mixing flavors, Houndcakes was born.

Houndcakes Gourmet Cookies for Dogs are made to order in small batches using whole grains (Brown Rice, Millet, Old-Fashioned Oats, Quinoa, Flax Seed), freshly ground peanuts for Peanut Butter, fresh, frozen and dried Fruits and Vegetables, home cooked Meats, beneficial Spices and Oils, such as Cinnamon, Ginger, Turmeric, Coconut oil and Olive oil, Molasses and Honey, Coconut & Almond flours.
